There’s nothing I’d love more than for Tony to stay. Him and the program he created is what made me fall in love with baseball. FB used to be my first love, but this Vols baseball team is the one thing I can watch comfortably and have complete confidence in that everything will be ok. We must pull out all the stops to keep him at all costs. If the DW rumors are true, he needs to get his butt in gear asap or step aside and let Boyd make the decisions regarding.

If he is leaving why hasn’t it been leaked by a current or future player? As a recruit you know they have checked in. And no one has backed out yet or said they are transferring. I think Tony is liking the attention brought to his Vols.

The attention is great for recruiting and for the prestige of the program IF he stays.

I agree with your 2nd paragraph, but we really aren't close to competing for a natty in any of the other major sports. Got our doors blown off in the fb playoffs and in the elite eight.

Back to back elite 8s is competing for a natty.

My point is they need to move on to their next candidate. I don’t think they can just give TV unlimited time to make a decision.

I feel like I’ve seen that there’s some sort of connection between Tony and Buster Posey who is basically in charge of things there now

I agree. MLB is a very very tight knit club.. and if you ain’t in it, you ain’t getting in it. Baffling to say the least.
