Let me shred this to pieces really quick:

1. As already mentioned, that’s not how 20 year old kids speak over text

2. If players were asked to keep this secret, I have no doubt they would still leak it, but over text for the world to see? Nah.

3. So White got hired Thursday, then as the plane landed quickly called Elliot and said “Take the job!” and Elliot said “Ok cool” before White even met with the team? Then White hired a search firm just for fun?

This is a poor attempt. You can do better OP.

I know everyone wants a current HC.......and most are saying No coordinator’s.

But you guys do realize Tennessee has been through 3 coaches who were already head coaches and 1 DC......right?

Even the head coaches didn’t work.

I would love “proven”........but maybe.......just maybe this guy has hired more and better coaches than “I” have.

That was my thought but he now says it was a player speaking to a nonplayer. Of course, the player still isn't identified so who knows if it's actually a player?

This was what was posted on another board, if you guys don’t like rumors or don’t want to see them, then don’t click threads that say things like Sources, supposedly, and allegedly.

I’ll agree the gap isn’t as wide as some would have you believe but top to bottom the SEC is the best. You are arguing about scheduling balance. Just because you play 9 conference games doesn’t mean your schedule is tougher than someone with 8. It depends on the schedules being compared. Generally speaking though, the schedule of a SEC team will be tougher than that of a comparable team from another conference. Obviously, you can’t compare Bama’s schedule to that of Kansas given Bama can’t play itself.

Yeah, but all of his hires have been up and comers. Vol fans want no more up and comers. We're ready for proven winners.

So much for our new AD trusting his new players. I’m good with it tho if it ends up true. It’s not why you hire the CEO of your football team but an exceptional recruiter who happens to be African American isn’t the worst first m thing to happen to our football program. You guys can flame me for going there all you want...I said it. 😎

Do you follow football? They've beaten Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, Kentucky and LSU under Dabo. They play South Carolina and at least one other SEC team basically every year. They beat Auburn in 2016 and 2017. A&M 2018 and 2019.
