First of all, he laughed at the Gruden stuff. He brought Trey Wallace on the show to make a mockery out of him and his "inside" information. The guys a fox sports radio ran with the Gruden bs and message board rumors. Tony is right a lot more than he is wrong.

I liked the part where Tony joked that an armada of planes were flown to Tampa for Gruden.

Yep, a nice guy trying to make a living by broadcasting from his basement using surplus WWll Russian radio equipment. Wish him the best but with only a score of listeners I know it’s tough. Good luck
Dude, this is the internet age. Having a radio signal is consequential.

how do we get this guy off the air? he is complete trash and claims to have insiders in the program that give him information that never proves true. i listened to this guy's show for weeks during the Gruden fiasco. Every day for a month, this guy claimed that Gruden was negotiating with Currie, then signed a contract with UT and then was going out of his way to keep it a secret so he could announce it on MNF. He never has confirmed information and uses false information to generate listeners and sponsors. He is the last guy we want recruits knowing about and listening too prior to visiting Knoxville. pretty sure he still lives in his mama's basement.

This dude is around to stay. Can’t control everything, so best to get used to it. He does have a decent following and cares about UT football. He was instrumental in the Schiano boot IMO. He isn’t perfect, but know that he is the business of ET... he isn’t a reporter.

The best way to get him off the air is to stop listening-stop tuning in. He and his producers do not care if you like him/his show at all, as long as you tune in. If you are tuning in so you can BIT&*, they don't care, as long as you are tuning in. In fact, if you go on boards, such as this one, and complain about him, many people that had never listened to him, will tune in, so as to make their own judgement. Again, his listenership just increased...just saying.
I would like to add, I am a firm supporter of the 1st adm, and don't want to see anyone's voice stifled or silenced,, but you asked for a way, I responded.

Sure. I went out and bought a new digital alarm clock because I was told it wouldn't go beyond 1999!

As someone who was actually bitten by the “Y2K bug” (twice, as a matter of fact), I can assure you it wasn’t a hoax. I won’t bore you with the details, but there were some inconveniences due to that issue. Of course all of the “end of the world” crap and other rants of doom and destruction were way overblown.

The best line I ever heard about Basilio was: "......when UT hired Lane Kiffin, WNML had Pete Carrol on to discuss the hire, Basilio had W. Lynn.

He is a carpet bagging Yankee who never does any prep work, has no real "inside" information and never lettered in $#!+. Other than comic relief provided by the 7 or 8 callers he has, I'm not sure why anyone would listen to him. Back when he could actually get on a radio show, I'd occasionally listen just because it was a lot like a trip to Dollywood.

I don't think that's a good example. At least 50% odds he is right, and JG has gotten the nod every other game this year.... sounds like a captain obvious statement to me.
Seems like a great example to me. JG was pulled out of the last game in favor or Shrout and Shrout has been leading the reps in practice.

If I remember correctly, that was the Fox Sports Knoxville guys, not Basilio. Houston Kress and those guys to this day will tell you Tennessee met with and was close to signing Gruden.
