Let's see if he can convince AJ & Tiny to come back. If so, pay the man!

Butch and Azzanni no doubt are great recruiters as well, but connections with "breeding ground" high school coaches and SEC relationships are maybe new to them. Thig recruited Cam Newton and a good portion of Auburns current team.So he recruited all these guys by himself, Butch and others had nothing to do with it??
Don't Taze Me, just asking, for all I know he did.
.
If any of the coaches need a Raise, Its Tommy. I worry that he may leave to go back to Auburn. I started a similar thread several weeks ago..a great many of the responses where " Give him a raise once we start winning"...typical. He's the mad scientist with recruiting. I know Butch and Azzani are awesome recruiters, but Tommy is the one with serious SEC connections. Hopefully, we wont loose him over a frugal AD, cause I bet he would love to be back with Malzaun. It all starts with recruiting. And we need to keep being in the top 5. Go Vols!
Exactly. What part of Malzaun chose not to retain Thig do you not understand?
Ellis Johnson, defensive coordinator: $800,000
Rhett Lashlee, offensive coordinator: $350,000
Rodney Garner, associate head coach/recruiting coordinator/defensive line: $500,000
Dameyune Craig, co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers: $350,000
Charlie Harbison, co-defensive coordinator/safeties: $425,000
Melvin Smith, cornerbacks: $300,000
J.B. Grimes, offensive line: $270,000
Tim Horton, running backs: $250,000
Scott Fountain, special teams coordinator/tight ends: $250,000
It would be difficult to give Thig much more money with the above pay structure.
