While some only judge by wins and losses, I've seen something that I haven't seen in a long time (since Fulmer), players are being developed. As freshmen and backups hit the field, they are ready. While some don't take notice, I've seen the foundation laid for better days ahead. Thanks for putting in the hard work. It will pay off soon enough. While you can't please all Vol fans, just know that there are plenty of us behind you and look forward to a bright Orange future! Keep fighting!

Perhaps you need to realize the fact that WE are the inferior program. Think Vandy level, though we have beaten them a few times in the last 10 years. To think the Tennessee program is SUPERIOR to anyone in the SEC is looking thru the most orange of goggles. I can say more than a few Vol fans will be glad you set out a few years. Don't threaten...do it.

My reaction also. Players being developed?
Why did we stick with a QB that doomed the team? Oh yeah, the others weren’t ready or another way to say it , they weren’t developed.
Offensive line that should of been one of the SEC’s best was woefully average,
Linebackers can’t cover a pass and look lost at times, etc.
While I think development is better than with Jones I can’t claim I’m convinced it’s been great with CJP

Tennessee‘s program is one of the top 3-4 in the SEC historically. Several bad hires have definitely set us back and made us irrelevant in current times, but, historically we are still a top tier program far ahead of KY, ARK , SC, and yes Vandy

We haven't been in the to 3-4 of the SEC before since Missouri and A&M came into the league

We've got players on this team that can't remember seeing Tennessee as much more then the doormat for Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

Get real. 60’s?? We won a NC in 1998 . UGA hasn’t won one since 1980. And Mizzoo and TA&M I couldn’t even tell you if and when they have won one

And yet I spite of not getting an NC since 80, Georgia has beaten us 15/22 times meeting since our last NC.

A&M has beaten every time we've played them since they entered the SEC, and will most likely continue that streak Saturday.

Missouri is up on the series winning 5/9.

To each new class we're even more of a middling SEC team that is mostly irrelevant in the conference, because that's all they've ever known us to be.
