Nurses handle conflict every day without the use of violence. I had to physically restrain a guy the other day and it's only the 2nd time in almost 3 years I've had to do so. I only had him restrained for 2 hours and 37 minutes and took them off the very first chance I got. My day would've been exponentially easily to leave him in the restraints but that's not how I operate.

Just make sure your wife learns not to aim for the back. Even though that is a finishing technique for the cops, your wife may find herself doing some serious time doing the same...

I read like a few posts, then there was some post with an twitter video from bomani jones or whoever where the president/chancellor was talking to students and they had some type of emotional reaction before he walked off.

That was as far as I went into it.

Has your wife ever faced an armed intruder? My wife has been trained to shoot and when faced with a much bigger potentially armed intruder....she was hiding in the bedroom, crying and calling me at work.

First off, nobody gives a damn about your wife or kids. (And even if I did, using words like retard in front of children isn't that heroic). Second off old man, that wasn't a smiley face. Maybe you need a new eye prescription. :)

DING DING DING. (I'll play along CryWolfe) My wife is a nurse and she's never had any issues the last 10 years.

Comparing nursing procedures to any source of authority/law enforcement/etc is beyond RETARDED.
