That's fine. In the shooting I was referring to there is a witness who was less than 10' away from the shooting. I'd like to hear what he has to say.

You know Tim, if you look back through this massive thread, I've actually sided with cops a few times. (Shocking I know!) Granted it's few, but, I have the view that murder starts where self defense ends.

Hard to take you seriously when you say things directly disparaging me and the time I spent helping society. As if you were somehow in the know. These videos you guys post generally fail to show the events leading up to arrest (which is not always pretty) and the disposition after all is said and done. That video you just posted needs perspective, sometimes I feel you guys are outraged for the sake of being outraged. In any event I too can be more civil when having these discussions and I will make the effort to do so.

Was excessive force used in that video Tim? Did their actions help society? Did the the repeated closed fist punches help anyone?

My view is this, taxation is theft. Anything funded by this theft is invalid because it's funded by immoral means. You cannot achieve a moral end, if you start with immoral means. It's impossible.

I understand deadly force encounters. Sometimes the person, officer or not, is left with no choice. As I stated above, murder starts where self defense ends. Let's be honest here, there are some people walking around in the world right now that need to be shot, they're a danger not only to themselves, but others as well. I understand this. I have 0 problem with an officer or citizen protecting themselves, I encourage it. However, the things I've posted lately are outright murder.

Still no answer on what this alleged warrant was over...

Few was not armed, the affiliate reported. It's unclear what led to the pursuit.

What does that mean?

If cops actually spent as much time and effort chasing real criminals instead of harrassing average citizens for busted taillights, reefer, or other trivial nonsense, the vast majority of the public would be behind the cops.

Just because most cops act more like Tackleberry in Police Academy, that doesn't give you the right to pizz on other professions. Most other professions don't have the power to take life, liberty nd property from you at the blink of an eye.
