The only one spinning here is you. I've not jumped to conclusions or anything, unlike you.

Not jumping to conclusions like the link you posted that stated the rancher was coming out armed to take down the animal?

That's a jump to conclusions IMO. How did that detail emerge? What source provided it? And you have one witness that immediately ran to the press, what kind of credibility does he have?

You don't want to jump to conclusions, yet the first link you post already implicates the deputies as guilty. Pretty unbiased of you ask me.

If you'll observe my initial post to OB, I said that details were limited and i posted what was basically available. The link I posted came from Will Grigg, it contained nearly every link available on the matter.

I know, you'll label me a cop hater and blah blah blah

The funny thing is the outright unwillingness to even consider the cops might have done something wrong here. I'm not saying they did, but it's very telling nonetheless.

Like most things, I'll wait until more details emerge.

I can see either side of this. But the Sheriff seems to be a pretty stand up guy who puts the Constitution first. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he might be fairly selective of his deputies if that was the case.

Uh, that's pretty much what I was doing. I posted the link, I never said a word assigning blame. I even said the details are limited, as they are. Yet, we've got folks with no links saying dude showed up firing at people.

As a side note, gotta love that magic parchment worship lol

Calm down Sparky. Have another IPA and enjoy getting ready for the beat down tomorrow.

Speaking strictly about using deadly force to protect yourself or others I can't see how cops should have more liberal guidelines than the rest of us?

Bc they have to put their self in harms way on a daily basis... You are legally within your right to shoot someone to protect yourself or someone else but as a citizen we do not have the right to confront a possibly deadly individual like the police do on a daily basis.
