I think most people can expect a goon or a thug to be invovlved in senseless violence. That is what they do... They are goons.

The outrage again is aimed at those that are supposed to be on the right side of the law that are too easily tempted to engage in senseless violence. It has nothing to do with being sheltered or growing up around violence.

Most are strict, use it or lose it policies (typical zero tolerance) but then teachers will say, "put this in your cell phone" or "take out your phone and look this up." Both of these are great points.

Cellphone use in school was a tough choice for us, so the principal said it was up to each teacher if they would allow cellphones in class. They're damn useful for both of the reasons you mentioned above, but can quickly become a pain in the ass distraction. I'm still torn with some of my classes.

And I have two foster kids. One is a polite and quiet kid who just wants to be left alone to read most of the time. The other acts out or sleeps. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be in their shoes, and can definitely see this variable having an impact on this young lady's behavior in South Carolina.

Sorry can't get it to link but did you all see where the students staged a walk out in support of the fired officer?

IDK if it was nationwide or just in my state, but there was a day 8 years ago where all the illegals went on strike (just a 1 day demonstration) and I had an employee (legal) ask if she could go and protest out of solidarity.

Permission kind of defeats the purpose of protesting. LOL

The caller told the 911 operator that she did not feel threatened and that no one was in danger. The caller later admitted to drinking Vodka earlier that evening.

Again, it looks like the real enemy is the sheeple that support these police and empower them to use violence over something so trivial.
