Who works on the arbitration and in the courts? Who decides who works there? And how are they paid? I feel like we've done this once or twice and each time it turns out to be the same system we already have.

The video I posted above does a pretty good job of explaining it.

Big difference between the system we have now, which forms a triad against the accused, with the judge, cop, and prosecutor, all working for the state.
A private arbitrator is only selling his opinion and has no interest in the outcome, as his livelihood depends upon it.

I've seen that described many different ways and obviously have serious doubts regarding whether it would work or not. But calling it the silliest **** you've heard all week while, at the same time, supporting the garbage we we currently have is just precious.

I'll admit I don't understand this Free Inhabitant movement where they cite Article IV of the Articles of Confederation. First off, even if the Articles of Confederation were still in effect, Article IV doesn't say that a Free Inhabitant isn't subject to the laws of the states they visit. It only allows them to move freely from state to state. But, the Constitution took the place of the Articles of Confederation, so their position is gone.

some kid in my economics class is always spouting some sovereign citizen nonsense when we get into group discussions, always claiming some sort of freedom from laws in the same terms as this dumb woman...best part is a few weeks ago a dude in class that really never has anything to say said to him after one of his ti-raids "miss clark (the professor) am i "free" to punch this dude in the face? the whole place erupted it was hilarious

Knowing that movement, it could be for any number of things. They don't want to use license plates, driver's licenses, carry insurance, follow traffic laws or submit to the State in any way possible. Basically everything a couple of posters on here don't agree with.

Being that it's an older video, there's not a lot of information on what the initial stop was for so there is no answer for you. I might expect something to come out about it since the video is viral at this point.

No matter what you do, no matter what you call yourself, as long as the state exists they can put their boot on you, and get away with it under the color of "law." Sovereign citizens are dreamers who wish to ignore the state. That's fine, until your number comes up and the state forces compliance. The monopoly of violence in a given geographical area is real.

Honestly, when it comes to the state, you're talking about an inherently stupid institution. They only regulate the past, they are always looking back. If people can innovate, Bitcoin, Silk Road, and a plethora of other free market ideas. Freedom wins in the end. Technology will always outrun the state.
