I find it odd that many people do not seem to think she played any part in this and did absolutely nothing wrong. While the cop holds larger blame in my opinion, she definitely holds some too.

I don't think anybody has said that she didn't contribute. I mean if you ask me, she acted like your typical hoodrat black woman... chicken necking and talking sideways. But for talking sideways (after answering a question the cop asked her), is that worthy of being dragged out the car? Is it worthy of being dragged out the car not putting out a cigarette? Let's look at the facts of what she actually did that day... she made a minor traffic violation, back talked an officer and didn't put out a cigarette. And what were the consequences of that? Being dragged out the car and clown stomped on the sidewalk.

If we expect 18 y/o college freshmen to be reserved and react responsibly while drinking and getting into a physical tussle with another drunk woman, then is it unreasonable for a sober, professional officer that should be trained to deal with people to behave with the same level of restrain that we expect from that 18 college kid?

You acknowledging that she broke two laws is more than some on here are willing to do. I can see the argument that she tried to assault him too based on him making a dodging motion when trying to get her out of the car.

As for what happened on the sidewalk...I can't see so I can't make a judgement.

Like who? Who isn't acknowledging that?

How could the autopsy that was done several days after the traffic stop (she was in jail 3 days) tell them that precisely at the moment of the traffic stop, she was high?

Ask CNN.

I should have took a screen shot.

Hell the other day they ran a ticker across the bottom of the screen saying a 9.0 earthquake hit the Bay Area in Cali.

Uh, go back and watch the video. She wasn't dragged out of the car. She got up on her own accord after he pulled the taser and told her he would "light her up."

The only way you would know if she was "clown stomped" on the sidewalk was if you were there or there's another video out there with a different view. Is there one? I haven't seen one...

Heard the family on the radio some today. On the one hand they keep saying they only want to know what happened, that is their only interest. In the next breath they say they reject the facts that have come out so far.

Translation: We have a narrative in our head, and those facts that support it we accept without question. Those facts that disprove it we reject without a thought.

But it seems to be the main problem "WITH ALL" these white on black incidents!

It's the problem with any such incident, regardless of race. Heck, Trump won't acknowledge facts that don't support his narrative about immigration. He just sticks to his mantra, regardless of facts.

That's why I could never be a politician. People confine them with facts and they just ignore them.

Same with families in these kinds of cases. They cannot believe what they don't want to be true.

What's crazy is they just invent facts that confirm their worldview - they are so ingrained in their minds that they dismiss statistics to the contrary - then they tell others they are the fact-deniers

Part of the problem is that statistics can be made to show whatever point of view that you have.

I'd love to vote for someone with an open mind. But seems like to even run it has to be closed.

Thats the way the left is and I would say you also

When it comes to Global Warming and Gays being mentally ill instead of born that way! Those facts that disprove GW you and the left reject without a thought.

And when it come to Blacks committing more crime and being more violent etc. Damn the facts and stats, you have your own narrative and scream racist when ever someone brings up fact and stats that support it!

If the traffic violator had been white, refused to obey the officer when told to put out a burning cigarette (imagine having a burning cigarette hit you in the face and eyes), and then resisting arrest, would there be a different perspective on this?

Press 1 for Spanish. Press 2 for english.

Yes, it would air on the next episode of Cops and fat 30 year old dead beats would sweat on the couch eating cheetos and chugging low Carb monster energy drinks.

I didnt find anyone saying she was innocent. What most people with common sense have been saying is that his reaction to her behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and outrageous.

It was. He went from 0-60 in no time flat for nothing of any consequence. He should have just given her the ticket and let her drive away. If he was that upset by her actions he should have just told her that her warning was now a ticket and let her mouth him some more.
