I don't do either of those things....I'm torn on the drug issue.....the war on drugs is a huge failure but I also see what drugs do to people and families....I'm not sold on what the answer should be.

Drugs are not agents that can make decisions or take actions. Your argument is as dumb as "see what guns do to people and families." Drugs, and guns, are only held responsible for the actions of people by other people who do not want to acknowledge the personal responsibility of the user of the drug or the wielder of the gun.

I don't care if someone owns and shoots firearms as long as they don't shoot me. I don't care if someone owns and smokes crack as long as they aren't bothering me. This should be the mindset of anyone who supports real freedom.

Translation... It's clearly an epic failure but let's continue locking people up and ruining lives because I can't think of anything better. Oh and you're an addict if you disagree.

In that case every law is a failure. Pretty ignorant view considering enforcement of any law doesn't prevent it from happening again. Damn police ruining lives by arresting people who had no choice but to do drugs and/or sell them.

That's not true.....drugs are mind and mood altering....I'm not 100% against legalizing them but comparing drugs to guns is a ridiculous comparison

I never said any of that....I said I'm not sure about legalizing everything bc I know the dangers associated with drug use but the drug war is a failure and they need to do something else.

Well...

Yeah I bet u do....just some of the things I have heard in the past few days: they shouldn't enforce driving laws, people shouldn't have to have car insurance, dads shouldn't have to support their kids....this site has gone nuts....please tell me where I have been hypocritical.

With the exception of one poster suggesting car insurance shouldn't be mandated by the government (a bit of stretch to turn that into what you said but whatever), none of us have said any of that.

What is not true? Be specific. Some drugs alter your mood and mind more than others. Most drugs do so a negligible amount. Drugs still do not make decisions for people, just like guns. They are inanimate objects.

So, tell us, what is your personal experience with drugs? Did you get the sudden urge to kill your friends and family while you were on painkillers given to you by your doctor? It sounds like you're operating off ignorance and propaganda rather than actually knowing anything of importance on this subject, and choose to live in the fabricated reality inside your head where every person who uses drugs immediately becomes a psychotic danger to society. It's like you watched reefer madness and took it 100% seriously.

Do you not like the comparison because it proves how simple and self defeating your arguments are?

I'm especially irked about the child support statement as neither Ras nor I said anything even remotely close to that garbage. I'm just wondering if you're purposely misrepresenting what we said or if you're actually that clueless.

And of course, following your argument to its logical conclusion, I guess you also support alcohol prohibition because it is mind and mood altering.

I would be really interested to see where that was posted.

So if making them illegal doesn't prevent people from using them, why make them illegal?

You probably would have been miffed at the time prohibition was overturned. Enforcing those alcohol laws was a glorious success.

Sorry, you just happen to believe in really big government as well as a police state. It doesn't sit well with those who cherish personal liberty.

Wow..... You make the short bus look like a stretch limo

To be honest, you've been dehumanizing victims of police brutality and saying you aren't backing the cops, which is worse than unconditionally backing the cops.

Your EXACT words were that the victim is always a dumbass.

Do me a favor, CP. Do a quick read on Darrien Hunt and tell me why he's a dumbass. If you say "well, don't run from the cops," tell me why I should trust a grown ass man running at me with a gun drawn, when I've done nothing, just because they have a badge. That's sheeple mentality. Sheeple.

It was said that the govt shouldn't make dads support their kids.....maybe whoever said that meant the honor system lol

Aren't all parents on the honors system? Do people constantly check in on you to ensure you're spending money on your kids?

Perhaps the government should tax 20% of your pay and give it to your children.
