Whatever my heart desires that the state deems distasteful. As long as I'm hurting no one, or defrauding anyone, what's the problem?
Give me an example? The war on drugs I agree is a failure but had good intentions.....what is an example of what u want to do that the"man" won't allow u to do right now.
Ever wanted to crack open a cold beer on a public beach? Trivial example, but one that I've got on my mind seeing as how it is almost vacation time.
That's not oppression.....that's trying to protect a certain population.....the beaches are for family, and community use....the last thing they want is for a bunch of drunks ruining the beach for everyone.
I get that, it's easy to say what I said. However, I truly believe it. We have been conditioned to obey power and not to question their intention.
I never said this was oppressive, it is an example of something I'd like to do that I can't. And drinking a beer does not equal being a "drunk" that "ruins the beach for everyone".
I question their intentions but every time I have dealt with police I have been respectful and had no real issues with any cops....every single time, I knew I had broken the law as well....if u don't agree with the law, the cops is the wrong source of the battle.
Oh I agree....if people would drink responsibly then they wouldn't have the law....its kind of like Daytona Beach....they use to host MTV spring break every ur and then the beach Area got so trashed that they don't any more and made it more family oriented....people does this stuff to theirselves sometimes.
The local municipality allowed mtv to shoot there and turn it into a place for drunken debauchery for ratings. Producers Likely encouraged over serving and over consumption. Sounds like the government did this and then blamed the fallout on alcohol. Rather than their nearsighted attempt at a cash grab.
