What did the cop do that was illegal.....this is such a minor thing....why overthink it so much

It is NOT a minor thing. The SCOTUS says that cops can't pull you over unless they have probable cause. These didn't. It's pretty simple.

And again, it is NOT a minor thing.

I read the question wrong....it's impossible to tell....I'd have to see what the person did....in this case I don't have a problem with it all.

Seems confusing… They should really come up with a set criteria of when cops can mess with people and their property.

Probable cause does not take much.....the girl laying down is probable cause

Probable cause has to be supported by a reasonable suspicion. Are you aware of what reasonable means? Or you just skipping the parts you don't like again?

U cannot lay down across someone's lap....u r reminded of that on every Tennessee highway....click it or ticket

Probable cause for what charge?

Just because a law is on the books, it doesn't mean it has to be enforced. You cops make it harder on yourselves by going after people for little nitpicky stuff like "improper hand signals" and performing fellatio.

I have to say that what the officer did was despicable but I actually find it exponentially more pathetic how many people see things like this and are okay with it.

And the other side of the coin is the citizen makes it harder on himself/herself by purposely doing stuff like "improper hand signals". It was obvious he was messing with the cop in this case. He doesnt have anything better to do than flip a cop a bird?

Am I the only one who finds irony in the "Does he not have anything better to do" argument just absolutely hilarious.

Maybe where you live but I can't recall the last time I saw a guy driving a Mercedes wearing a suit giving the cops the finger

Well, now that I think about it, the response I've seen most often from that demographic is, "Do you know who I am?"... So you may be right.

I can barely contain the laughter.

We have douchebags dressed up like it's halloween driving around in military vehicles harassing people for a middle finger and we're asking if the people they're ******* with have anything better to do. That's simply brilliant.

If you play with fire, you're going to get burned....
