In the above video I do see the kid reach for his waist band but I don't see his other hand.

For all the cops or former cops here, why on earth would you pull in like that? Why not observe first, especially if you've been told by dispatch it's most likely a toy gun? The kid was no threat, he was minding his own business.

Oh man...cops are beating this guy senseless and then legsweep his pregnant girlfriend who was approaching them. According to the guy who caught it on video:

Frasier said, officers on scene threatened him with arrest, demanded he turn over all photos and videotape to them and then seized his tablet over his objections.

“When he took it, I said, ‘Hey! You can’t do that. You need a warrant for that!’ and he said, ‘What program did you take the video with? Where is that?’” Frasier said.

He said police ignored his objections and dug through his personal photos without obtaining a court order.

“The first officer that comes up to ask me about my witness statement brings me to the police car and says we could do this the easy way or we could do this the hard way,”

It really is all about the drug war. It changed the way the cops approached their jobs and it changed the way the community looked at cops.

The war on drugs is possibly the worst policy in the history of the US.
