The woman who was baptized died a year or so ago, which would make those charges a bit more difficult, but still stinks and has since the beginning.

HCSO lost all their body camera recordings around the time the rest of the people came forward. Then the Sheriff hired Wamp and supported her in the election. I know a lot of people who thought that was done specifically because of this case and others like it. Pinkston was a mess and she’s fixed some of the organizational problems he had but I won’t be surprised if there isn’t a similar body of work on the field of corruption by the end of her term.

It is also fishy that they are blaming this on Pinkston. That doesn’t really make sense to me.

Boise police officer has made over 3,500 DUI arrests. He was cited for driving drunk
Hancuff wasn’t arrested and instead was cited. Orr said that while it’s up to the sheriff’s deputy whether they want to arrest someone or issue a citation, out of the 142 people who’ve been charged with a DUI this year, only 16 were citations. To put it another way, nearly 90% of people charged with DUIs by the sheriff’s office were arrested.
Not surprised that he wasn’t arrested.

The cop didn't want to be a dick, but he arrested this guy for "disregarding a traffic control device" in a Buc-ees parking lot on his way to get gas. I love how these guys serve the public.
Edit: I didn't watch it far enough. He let him go when another cop pulled up and had a ticket book so he could write him up. Still a douche bag cop.

What a complete azzhole I hope the guy beat the BS ticket but since its TX who knows, they might have given him the death penalty.

And in America (especially Texas), why is it not expected that ALL citizens have a firearm? Why is this cop harping on asking about a firearm? 2A is still in effect, isn't it?

I swear, you "Blue Lives Matter" folks are a bigger danger to freedom than anyone else. And you all call yourselves "patriots" or defenders of the Constitution. I cannot believe you guys sided with the police rather than the parents in this case. You guys ALWAYS side with the cops/govt uniformed officers over average citizens. You guys are no better than COVID mask enforcers when it comes to the cops/military. Disgusting.

Who do you mean by 'you guys'? I think most of us realize that there are good people who are cops and that there are powertripping azzhos who are cops (ratios vary by locality). It seems to be just a few here who defend bad actors just because they're blue,
