To Protect and to Serve II

If she's a taxpayer in that community she's on her property. Why does everyone forget this?

I’m with you most times....but..... if we don’t like the rules set up by public officials then there’s a mechanism for changing those rules and it’s not ignoring them.
I’m not a fan of the public mask rules. I don’t think the government can tell people they have to wear a mask. A business, private property or government owned land is under control of whoever is in charge.

Wait a minute... there is also a mechanism in place where these laws are created. Was there any legislative action taken to apply these mask mandates?

See, it is very aggravating to say on the one hand that we need to vote harder and follow the process, but on the other hand we break that same process to create law out of thin air.

What's the purpose of voting in legislators at that point if they can be bypassed?

Well, your legislators that you voted in are going along with it, so there's that.

In this case it’s not law. It’s policy. The school is within its rights to say you can’t come in without a mask.....without vaccines......with pocket knives.....you can’t wear political clothes.....ect. We have the opportunity to go before the school board and affect change. Again I’m not supporting the mask rule so much as the businesses and schools rights to make it.

I personally have issues with Redbank Tennessee having a city wide 25 mph speed limit. I largely ignore it. If I get caught I’m not refusing the ticket because the limit is stupid. I’m also Currently lobbying for a change in redbank.

We shall see

They violated the mayors "rule" that there shall be no assembly without his approval. Singing in a parking lot was against his "rules"
And that’s where the “rules” gets interesting. I’m not sure legally they can make a mask rule for your property. I’d like to see this argued in court. I suspect the mayor would lose.

You think? What kind of egomaniac arrests a pastor for holding a church service in a parking lot in Idaho?

It’s definitely a bad look.
The dipstick in Chattanooga backed off after being threatened with a court challenge. I think they know they’re out of bounds on these mask rules. They need to be challenged
