I don’t think it took 6 minutes to tell the police chief “Ryan hit something and there’s a bike laying here”. I also don’t understand how a police sergeant can see a caved in windshield, a mangled bike, and need another 7 minutes to call EMS. Or how this guy wasn’t at least charged with leaving the scene of a accident with injury/death and failure to render aid. Those seem easily provable.

The chief said himself what the Rep said to him, he didn't mention a bike, he said he hit an animal and then after a few min said or maybe a person, idk...the chief then stated wait what? and immediately called someone to check it out. No cover-up there as suggested....the Sgt was looking around for a possible victim, several times people get hit by cars and leave the scene as well, happens all the time, and the Sgt was assessing the full scene and immediately called for EMS when a victim was discovered. The guy driving (who apparently is autistic or some such BS) is looked at being charged by the DA, but the police aren't the wrongdoers here and sure as hell didn't "cover anything up" as the article suggests

The cop felt disrespected so decided to punish the person that made him feel that way. I don’t exactly what “crime” he was charged with but it couldn’t be more clear that’s 100% what happened.

He’s a scumbag because he arrested a biker who thought he could break the law then run from the police? Story says that the neighborhood has complained about these bikers for weeks

Yea I know you believe people should be able to drive and bike how they want. Laws be damned but there is a reason people aren’t allowed to run stop signs because they feel like it

The bicyclists knew they were in the wrong. When the group came over they were protesting with very little passion. That’s not how people behave when they think they’ve been wrongly accused of something.
