To Protect and to Serve II

Did you watch the video? They told him over and over again. He didn’t obey. Initial call was for a guy waving guns out of his hotel window. Take laps nerds. You dudes are cancer.

And let's just be clear, this psycho etching "you're ****ed" into his rifle should have been a big ****ing signal to his coworkers that this guy may not have the mental/emotional capacity to perform that type of job with any degree of self control or empathy. Much less, common sense.

Glad you proved that you dont have a clue. Dude was waving his BB guns out of the window that are shaped like rifles out of his window. Aka why they got the initial call. Get a grip

Not exactly what happened.... The BB gun was pointed out the window cause he was showing it to a friend. The fact that you claim he was "waiving" it shows you're either ignorant or dishonest. My guess probably a little of the former and a lot of the latter.

This doesn't matter. Say your neighbor lady reports to you somebody was waving a gun around, and you shoot this guy under these conditions, you would be in jail. Cops are trained professionals and public servants. Why hold them to a lower standard than a do-gooder? Makes no sense. He has even less of an excuse for mismanaging this

He wasn't waving a gun. You say that like he was some crazy man on the balcony pointing guns at people. That's simply dishonest.

Every time I think, "nobody will defend this one." Some bootlicking retard comes along and proves me wrong.

The more time goes on, the more I hope that the government makes legislation to pay LEO substantially more and punish them harder when they mess up. Seriously, get all these cops really good base salaries. Make the field more competitive, weed out the ones that don't deserve the money, and give them a double standard compared to civilians when they are on trial. They are held to a higher standard on the field and have more rights, so they should be cut no slack in the courtroom. If we're paying each officer 90k+, that gives the entirety of the government incentive to reward good cops and punish bad ones. I believe we would weed out a lot of bad cops in the hiring process alone.

Something is going to give soon. The mountain of questionable instances has turned some of the hardest LEO supporters.

Yet again on this forum, we have a contingent just out of their minds about a trial result, or even just a case, knowing just a sliver of the facts.

You didn't hear the officer testify so you had no chance to judge his credibility. You heard nothing of the forensics or toxicology. The jury deliberated two days on this.

You also jumped to conclusions in Ferguson. Or with Trayvon Martin.

You know nothing other than what you've read and heard biased commentators say about the trial in San Fran.

Two of those didn't go your way and you think you know better from piecemeal info and scream about the jurors and the system.

Two did go your way and You applaud the jurors or other decision-makers for seeing through the smoke and doing the right thing.

Quit judging cases on 1 out of 20 facts.

He was drunk and couldn’t obey commands. Kept reaching back and they kept warning him until giving him a final ultimatum. Bad situation

I feel like you didn't watch the video. He obeyed commands and never reached back. He was shot because he was told to crawl so when he did, he put his hands down. The really weird part is he doesn't shoot immediately when his hands go down nor does he tell him to put them back up. Instead he lets him crawl for a few steps then uploads.

Your friend, the shooter, should be put down.

Yeah, telling a guy to crawl isn't really protocol as I understand it. There is no indication as to why they couldn't just walk up and handcuff the guy while he lay on the ground.

The judge ruled this prejudicial so it couldn't be revealed in court, but the shooter has "you're ****ed" etched on his rifle.

THE reason is obvious. They’re chicken****.

We don't need a toxicology report nor the officer's testimony. We saw the act. The officer gave confusing directions and then shot the man for putting his hands down after being told to "crawl"

WATCH: Cop Found Not Guilty for Murdering Innocent Unarmed Dad Begging for His Life

I think this has been discussed before but the body cam footage was released.

Warning... Unless you want to watch a scumbag POS execute an innocent husband and father, I wouldn't watch. I kinda wish I wouldn't have.

I saw that yesterday and wish I wouldn't have. The cop had that poor guy scared s***less and was giving confusing commands..... hands straight up and crawl to me....I wish the dude wouldn't have put his hand back by his waist.... that was horrible.

That 1 fact was this video. Don't trust my lying eyes...

Unfortunately he did reach back but I still don't think his movement warranted being blown away. The guy was terrified and confused

Crawling like that was dragging on his shorts... probably trying to pull them up as he was crawling.

Man I'm sorry but I don't think I've even seen a police shooting video where the guy was less of a threat. He was confused (probably because his instructions where changing, confusing, and contradictory), scared, crying, on the ground, and pleading with the cops not to shoot him.

This is what makes the video so disturbing. In most police shootings there is at least a questionable threat. This guy posed no threat whatsoever and it's a shame.

I don't know a lot about this case other than the edited for TV video, but was this guy in his hotel room and SWAT literally knocked on the door?
