Seriously... What's the point in body cams if the can't be used to prosecute psychopathic, trigger happy, murderous cops? Why waste the damn money?

I'm not so sure if the sheep would have convicted that cop even if they had seen the video. This country worships people in uniform (esp. State sponsored uniforms) far too much.

Bad situation for both. They could have handled it better. I don't blame the shooter. His ranking officer clearly said we will shoot you if you do that again. And he did it again.

I also went to school with him and he was always a good kid.

If the prosecutor was even halfway worth a damn, then I'm sure they had the picture painted fairy well for them, probably by the defendant himself (it's not as though he'd be able to lie) if he was questioned.

Plus some may call this unfair but, if I'm on that jury, I know there's no way in hell it gets taken as far as changing a PO with 2nd degree murder if he was obviously guilty AF. Usually if there's even the slightest doubt, they give the guy a vacation, call it justified, and move on.

Man I'm sorry but I don't think I've even seen a police shooting video where the guy was less of a threat. He was confused (probably because his instructions where changing, confusing, and contradictory), scared, crying, on the ground, and pleading with the cops not to shoot him.

Jesus... He was in his hotel room, minding his own damn business when the swat team knocked on his door. Who cares how drunk he was?

I'm so sick of this idea that's cops safety is the only thing that matters. It's BS. He was doing nothing wrong, breaking no laws, when SWAT showed up and murdered him. Not one bit of this was his damn fault.

Not exactly what happened.... The BB gun was pointed out the window cause he was showing it to a friend. The fact that you claim he was "waiving" it shows you're either ignorant or dishonest. My guess probably a little of the former and a lot of the latter.

This doesn't matter. Say your neighbor lady reports to you somebody was waving a gun around, and you shoot this guy under these conditions, you would be in jail. Cops are trained professionals and public servants. Why hold them to a lower standard than a do-gooder? Makes no sense. He has even less of an excuse for mismanaging this
