I've had a CDL for about 20 years, wanna rub weiners together?

Next time I drive a machine out to a job I'll check the glove box for the superhero medals that come with the license. They must've forgot to issue mine.

Oh I know you don't, that's a game you'd easily lose.

You see, when you exaggerate a point and start telling lies you try to pass off as truth you're taking away from your point and sound like an idiot. Then any point you're trying to make is lost.

Just tell the truth next time. There are plenty of laws and practices that need repealed and stopped, no need to make stuff up.

If only we were seeing a rash of cases of cops actually killing murderers, rapists, robbers, etc.

Instead, they are killing loose cigarette dealers, reefer smokers, drivers with busted taillights and drivers that change lanes without signalling.

The head of police in Tulsa in the US state of Oklahoma says a black man shot dead by officers on Friday was unarmed.
Authorities are investigating the death of Terence Crutcher, 40, who had his hands in the air when he was shot next to his car, relatives say.
Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said "there was no gun on the suspect or in the suspect's vehicle" and promised justice would be achieved.
Police say they will release a dash cam recording of the shooting.
Officers came across Mr Crutcher's stalled vehicle while they were en route to another call, reports say.

I completely agree. I generally don't get too burnt up over the murderous sociopaths because I actually feel like those individuals are the extreme minority. The extortion, bullying, and intimidation however, appear to be far more commonplace then most seem to want to admit.

I am of the opinion it's the job that corrupts and/or numbs the officers. Sure, not all of them fall to the dark side. But I believe it's a big factor.

Example....
A officer (Shelby county narcotics deputy) was arrested for federal extortion. He faces 20 years in prison if found guilty(which he will be found guilty)

I use this as an example because this deputy is a friend of mine. We grew up together. He never smoked, drank or dipped. Rarely cussed and wasn't a bully in school.

He screwed up and is going to pay the price.

No he didn't but he put his life and the cops life at risk by not following orders.....the cops don't know what's going on with guy.... I've had guns pulled on me before and I stood as still as can be with my hands up in there bc all it would take is a cop to think something is going on to pull that trigger.

Last year I posted a poll that asked if it was okay to use deadly force to make someone follow commands. The response was overwhelming against it, yet time and time again the phrase "he should have just complied" is used to rationalize a police shooting.
