You’re an absolute cad. Cops hate this, cops do that, cops blah blah blah. Cops are overwhelmingly R and R’s by in large are law and order. These laws you speak of are largely a D thing. They don’t advocate for these laws nor do they voluntarily enforce them. The people vote for the law makers and thus an apparent majority of the population want this (hypothetically of course). Elections have consequences so your stance that “cops” are wielding some desires to enforce these laws is ridiculous. Most cops would advocate for better mental illness plans. Not a scoop, treat, release in 2 days a real plan. A large large majority of these issues leading to gun confiscation stem from mental illness but our soft, everyone is equal, everyone is the same, everyone gets the same society has led to this. Cops are some of the most honorable people in our communities and people like you are the reason crime and criminals are emboldened. In your YouTube scrolling you should watch a couple of videos where cops have a normal interaction to balance out your imbalance

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? OK, so what if the majority of people or politicians want these measures? If these measures conflict with your oath and the Constitution, what will you do?

If it’s a codified law we are sworn to uphold it. That’s how laws work. If it’s passed it’s presumed constitutional until it’s not. Officers make decisions based on their government employers. Your next question is going to be something stupid like “if they told you to... would you...”. So don’t ask your normal dumb question

So you basically confirmed what I have been stating. You guys would enforce the Red Flag laws and any variation of them that is considered to be legal.

When you answer that question, then you can ask yourself if we live in a corrupt police state or if everything is just fine.

The Army second lieutenant slowed down on U.S. Route 460, flipped on his turn signal, and looked for a lighted place to pull over because it was dark outside, according to a lawsuit filed last week in U.S. District Court in Norfolk.

Less than a mile away, Nazario saw a BP gas station. He drove his Chevrolet Tahoe into the parking area and stopped, the lawsuit said.

Army 2LT scared of the dark...right. Note to USSOCOM: Daytime missions only, please.

I'd be interested in seeing the video from A to Z. PC was there: no tag visible. It's not the job of LE to break out their binoculars and look for it, especially in the dark. Not visible (tinted window), and not properly displayed (tag bracket) = PC for the stop.

Good Lord, all he had to do was pull over; get out; and show them his temp tag. Soldier in uniform? I shake his hand...thank him for his service...and send him on his way.

Then again, this was in Virginia. I personally know of a handful of cops up there who take "God Complex" to a whole new level. I'm sure there are a bunch of good ones up there, but I've yet to meet them.

Must be something in the water.
