To Protect and to Serve II

The way the TBI presented this in an emergency text yesterday, not once, but twice, almost had my blood boiling.

I couldn’t help but wonder why we don’t see the same response when a non LEO is killed. Wouldn’t catching those killers be just as important?

Shockingly, GMA admitted the girl struck at the officer, briefly causing his body camera to shut off. Should she had been punched in the head? No. Should she had an open container of alcohol on the beach and be drinking underage? No. Should she had given her last name when asked multiple times? Why not? Should she have resisted arrest? I'd say no. But yes, the officer overstepped when punching her.

So wait, all this over an open container?

didn't they say it was an accident? Can't remember but seems I heard that.

How is the Malinois doing?

Here are the two text we received yesterday. They could not have been any less informative. An alleged armed and dangerous murderer hopped up on meth and on the loose... for **** sake, at least give us the last known location!

The Malinois is the center of the universe. Lol (at least in her little mind:))

I'd explain it, but that would set me up to be branded as a person that thinks cops aren't heroes.

Yes, as long as they limited it to certain area codes. If not, my battery would be dead 24/7. Sad

You may have seen the footage of cops punching this little woman at the Jersey shore, it's been circulating social media. Well the body cam footage has been released and surprise, surprise, it does not support the cops' claim that the woman spat and kicked at them.

Say she did kick at them, why is there escalation of violence? There is no need to have multiple men hold her down and bust her in the face. They are such ***** cowards.

Insanity.

Passed through Dickson/Highway 46 and there were sheriff cars from Cumberland, Rutherford and Coffee Counties over there last night and several other groups mixed in this afternoon. About a quarter mile long caravan of troopers and sheriff deputy vehicles on both sides of the road with their blue lights flaring. A total spectacle.

Dear lord, there was absolutely no reason at all to punch her like that.

Yeah the question isn’t really if blue lives matter. It’s really how much more do they matter than mine or yours. They’ve shown, that to them anyway, the answer is clearly exponentially more.

Its all about respecting the state and the state's men and women in uniform. No other professions matter.

Isn’t that the area that’s been exposed on 20/20 for their confiscation of peoples’ money under the guise of getting drug money off the streets?

Yeah, the DTF sits at the 840 exit a lot and has taken quite a bit of heat for seizing cash from people.

On another note, definitely a heavy police presence in the area. They seem to have their “command center” set up on 46 across from the Natchez ER. They were searching an area in Lyles, about 2 miles from my house, like crazy last night thinking they had the guy, but I don’t think anything came from it.

They man's body is barely cold and you still can't resist the chance to throw shade?

Classy.

As a comparison in the very same community just one month ago, there wasn’t the same level of LEO presence when the kid Joe Daniels went missing in Dickson.

Clearly, cops care more about cops than other citizens. I don’t remember HWY 46 being backed up with so many out of county plates back then.
