To Protect and to Serve II

Ending the jobs program known as the war on drugs would solve a lot of these problems. We could increase pay, reduce the force, and have more resources for sex offenders and violent people. Everybody would be happy except the bad cops who lose their jobs and the union.

Some of y'all need to educate yourselves before spouting incorrect stuff like this.

I'm sure there are nurses that swipe pulls from the meds cart....married drs that screw married nurses.... nurses that poison patients and various other unpopular things. Why aren't you demonizing them? It seems your only hard on is forthe cops.

What makes you think I don't? I'm all for medical professionals being held accountable where they screw up. I certainly don't defend them.

Then let me hear your opinion on doctors prescribing medical marijuana and opiods to otherwise healthy patients.

Not a fan. I don't have the numbers but the majority of people who develop opiate addictions began their use with a valid prescription.

I had a vastectomy in December and a tooth removed in January and was prescribed percocets both times. Neither of those procedures required the use of opiate pain medications. I was simply being set up for developing an addiction.

I actually laughed out loud at the 90% of people trusting doctors.

My kid broke her finger (teen). Dr. gave her a prescription for hydrocodone. I was like wth, no

You have no idea how police work is done. None

Who transports the mentally ill from a general hospital to a mental facility?

Who goes to unattended death scenes?

Who works accidents?

Who does traffic direction when a red light stops working or when Green Day comes to town?

Who tracks the Sex Offenders?

Who rescues people in natural disasters?

The list goes on and on.

Police work isnt just busting punks with a sack of bud (although it's so fun).

Bro...just stay safe and ignore the idiots.

I get sucked in sometimes too. Best to let them just be keyboard heros and disseminate their doctrine on a message board...dedicated to UT sports.
