A military then consisted of a guy and a gun. Totally different today.
What percentage of alcohol sold in the US is moonshine?
Market forces are no different now than in 1913. If there is a market for something, some enterprising person will build it and the people will pay to use it because it makes their lives better. We don't need to be stolen from by a group of criminals calling themselves government to do it. Besides, it's the gas tax that pays for the roads, not the income tax.

You can't go by those statistics. Many of the charges are changed or dropped. One of the guys that robbed me had a previous charge on his record f vandalism. Thought that as odd so I looked into it further. He was actually breaking into an atm machine. Ask any cop. Most of the crimes that are committed having underlying drug addiction issues
So you're just against income tax?
So you're saying we don't need a military? Or the military should be privatized?
I am against any type of initiatory force or violence. I am an anarchist/voluntaryist. I understand we cannot get to a stateless society right now, if ever. But we can try our best to err on the side of personal liberty.
The military? I don't have a problem with a military used for defenseive purposes.
Who's going to pay for for the military?
Instead of asking who will pay for this, or who will pay for that, as yourself if we really need it. You realize the founders were staunchly opposed to a standing army, right?
I am not against the military, provided it is voluntarily joined and used for defensive purposes.

So you think that if we dissolved our military today everybody just play nice and leave us alone?
Considering the rate of firearm ownership in America, I think we'd be ok.
Observe some things, Russia's entire military budget is 60 something billion, America's 600+ billion and growing. There is something seriously wrong there.
