First, I am surprised the spelling police did not catch "reciever" in the OP.
Second, DR gave himself that name. His first name is David. He chose the version he uses.
Third, why do posters cheerlead for the guys that they perceive are really talented and not for those that give 100% effort and do their jobs without drama everyday? You know, like Justin Hunter and yes, Zack Rogers. Two chose the right way, the other the wrong way. Talent has nothing to do with it.
Fourth, DR was the 5th receiver choice as a freshman. Moore, Jones, Stocker, and Hunter were well ahead of him in the pecking order. The first 3 graduate, Hunter stepped up to #1 and DR to #2 by default. He stepped up to #1 by default after Hunter went down. He could not beat out any of the WR's as a freshman and was not as good as Hunter. He drops way too many passes, marginally blocks for others, and doesn't even try for passes that require great effort. His stats finished good because he was all they had that could compete at a high level in the SEC.
Fifth, I want DR to get his act together today, right now, not later. Two years of his sorry attitude is one year too many in my book. My prayer for him is God's direct intervention into his life for a life changing event to set him right with God as well as those around him and himself. That may mean he no longer plays for UT. If that is the case, so be it.
