42,100 results on searching for "Pete Carroll recruiting violations"

356 results on searching for "Pat Summitt human sacrifice"

The numbers have it.
If you factor in the public's relative interest in college football and women's basketball, that's a wash.

I think Pat Summit practices human sacrifice and women's basketball is a plot to slowly bore portions of the American population to death. Again, nothing has been proven.

Calm down I was just stating my opinion on Carroll not debating whether a coach from the NFL can recruit. And my opinion is realistic, while the Summit calim is absurd.

That's what I thougt. So unless the other better qualified candidates ( say no to CPF, Troop is gone then, IMO.

In my mind the former UT coaches comprising the NFL gang, starting with KB, will be offered the position first since it seems certain that he will stay within the family.

KB interviewed for the HC job with the Texans last year. Those who keep pushing KB as only a position coach or someone who's ready to retire must be thinking of someone else. Being eligible for an NFL pension does not mean retirement is required, but instead it's the culmination of some forward-thinking concerning career planning.

So, we can go back to yesterday's 'the sky is falling on UT' posts now. Troop is all but gone as one of the NFL assistant coaches will accept UT's offer.

Weiss is stinking it up now, but when he came to the college ranks, his reputation with the Patriots brought him a great recruiting class on paper. I don't see Kippy being the prep magnet. I heard the reason he went the NFL route to begin with was becasue he did not like recruiting. Don't expect to see another top 5 recruiting class until Fulmer retires if Kippy comes in.

It's close. If you just search the coaches names it's about a 10:1 hit rate. So that would normalize it down to about a 420 to 356 hit rate on unproven stories. Based on the bizzare nature of human sacrifice, I would now say that a comparison that close makes Pat look bad. Someone should look into this more closely.

Although it hasn't been proven, I think Carroll breaks the rules when it comes to recruiting. But again nothing has been proven.

pete doesn't need to break recruiting rules. i've met the man, i'd probably want to play for him too. you never met a more positive dynamic person in your life, trust me. factor in living in So Cal, the huge number of recruits within 10 miles of the campus, and SCs tradition and it's not surprising he's #1 ever year.

Could you source this rumor? All I can find is that he was a great recruiter while at UT.

This year Weis has the #1 recruiting class to this point, so NFL coaches can come in and recruit.

heres what I think is going to happen. Trooper will be OC, with Fulmer "teaching him" while Kippy Brown will come in and be the QB coach.

1. The offense isnt going to change over the off season. This is going to be a slow transition to something similiar to what we have now and parts of a spread (my Hybrid theory)
2. Kippy Brown stated already that he would probably want to be the QB coach and I think he is just looking for an easier life at this point.
3. Trooper and Fulmer for all purposes will be our OC for the next few years and Trooper gets better and better every year and will finally take the reins in about four years after a slow implementation of a new offense.
4. after which they start grooming Trooper for taking over as HC (around six to eight years) and Fulmer will retire.

I don't know him nor have I met him and I am sure he is a great guy. My comments were more of a joke than a serious statement. I agree Southern Cal can pretty much recruit itself.

PC brought defense to the Pac-10 first and the rest is history.

I will tell you it is best to just go puke and be done with it. Other than that I didnt write this as some doughy eyed wishful thinker its just what I think is transpiring in Fulmers head right now? given history it wouldnt be that far off

Okay, I got QB coach mixed up with WR coach.

A former UT player said on Volquest that Kippy is moving back to Knoxville regardless of if he is on the staff or not. He also said that he might not necessarily be the OC, but possibly just the WR coach.

If this did happen though, I believe he would be more involved than that. Fulmer would want to sandwich Trooper.

I think that's a great idea Monterey. Knowledge, wisdom, and energy working together. Who could argue against that...

Fulmer wants to sandwich a lot of things. Fried shrimp, bologna, swiss cheese, ham, prosciutto, etc., etc.

while i must admit when they mentioned sandwich things, Fulmer making a sandwich was the first thing that came to mind, I thought most everyone on here had agreed not to make fun of the eating habits?

We should just bring back Shuler, T. Martin, Andy Kelley, Burney Veazy, Joey Matthews, and leave a spot open for Todd Helton when he's done in Colorado and have just an orgy of Co-Ex-QB-Coordinators.

Shuler can coach the out routes.
Tee can coach mobility.
Andy Kelley coaches only if ND is on the schedule.
Burney can coach clipboard holding.
Joey can teach about East Tennessee heritage.

Gang, Co-Coordinators is a ridiclious idea, in my humble opinion.
