Wow. Tons of assumptions in this post. Judge not lest ye be judged.
Sidenote: TENNESSEE, not TENNEESSEE
speaking of assumptions, you don't think that this is not being done on both sides with equal enthusiasm? It is MY opinion that the ones that want Butch gone do more judging of the ones who don't. Why is it that you think your more right than those that believe Butch is good for the program?
I know I dual with the "Fire Butch Crowd", but aren't we entitled to our side of the argument? why is it that you feel that your position is the only one to take on this debate?
Media only reports on the negative side of the fan's at UT, because they get a kick out of reporting their antics and comments, however, why is the other side so deliberately not heard or published?
It is my position that those that want Butch gone feed off the media's biased opinions. There are always multiple side to this debate.
It is so obvious that there are those fans than want to be associated with whatever side they feel is more right, and their opinions are more influenced by a "group think" or mob mentality.
Since 2008 it has been a "ready fire aim" and that is why Tennessee's Football program has crumbled. Sure, go ahead and blame one person, but this is the result of everyone's collective input.
The fan base has become a joke, whether your for or against Butch. We've become the source of media knives on SEC Television, from a baldheaded Bamer....what a joke. PF is telling Tennessee fans what to think, a trailer trash media talking head who ESPN uses to stir the pot in the SEC.
What ever happens, happens......I don't have any control over what Currie or the fans that disagree with my position or opinions.
I think the saddest piece I've seen is mothers and fathers dragging their young children into this chaos, how are they suppose to process the venomous statements that are made about a decent human being like Butch Jones?
The fan's have destroyed team spirit, comradery in the very essence of being a fan of anything. It has evolved into a media fest and they ae making millions off of our assumptions.
Blood is in the water, and normally the sharks show up and have the last say. Love Tennessee, but I don't love the fan base anymore.
Go Vols!!
