Hodge played a key role in Maryville's success the last two seasons. The big question centers around where he will play in college? He could help at running back or linebacker. His uncle is former Kentucky Wildcat Randall Cobb, which gives the Cats a natural tie. Tennessee is just 20 minutes down the road but how hard does Tennessee push to get him in the boat this spring?

The Maryville RB said Tennessee, Kentucky and Purdue are recruiting him the hardest/his Top 3. Vols like that he’s added size and is now 6-2, 220.

He got to meet the new staff of Chaney and Tee Martin. He and Tee had a laugh about their same name.

One interesting nugget Hodge passed along was that David Johnson made sure to meet with the local RB at the end of the visit to start a relationship. Johnson told Hodge he could be moving to coach RBs soon.
