'22 TN RB Jordan James (Oregon commit)

Give me the winning lotto numbers while you’re at it. Fulmer couldn’t do it with one of the best QBs ever to play the game and magically did the year after he left.

We’ll be knocking on the door every season with Kirby. At some point, it will open.
I wouldn’t bet on any team from the SEC not named bama until Saban retires. Unless some school lucks out with a Brady like OC, Bama is by far the safest bet. While Monken is better than Coley, extremely low bar there, he’s not Brady.

Maybe UT can really make a run at the Mississippi running back named Robinson since UGA is seemingly done at the RB position.

Smart's been a HC for 5 seasons. He's played for a NC but lost mainly due to an offsides call on a blocked punt that would have sealed the NC for UGA. Dabo went 9 seasons before his first NC. Saban went 10. Kirby's doing all the right things to win one.
Hang the banner. “2017 Almost Champions”

Kirby walked into a gold mine without having to rebuild anything.

Saban rebuilt Bama into a Championship caliber program.

You lost on a bad call. I hate it when that happens. I'm sorry, with all the talent and the level of coaching, facilities, etc. in Georgia High Schools for you not to be in the playoffs every year is a disgrace. NO SCHOOL in the country has access to more instate talent with no instate competition. You underachieve and make excuses. Every January you will start the "wait til next year" talk. That's who you are. That's who you always will be.

Bama won a couple of NCs before Saban ever got there, so the history was there. If you took a poll of CFB experts, Kirby's name would be at the top of the list of prospective NC winning HCs. I'd bet on him.

They won ONE post Bear and were regressing as a program.

Probably not the place to complain about a bad call against UGA from 4 seasons ago. Not even UGA sites are beating that dead horse any more.

Nice to know you go to UGA sites. True CFB fan. The O/S call was relevant to the conversation. It did most likely cost UGA a NC. If it happened to UT vs Bama, fans would certainly be still talking about it.

Took Saban 10 seasons as HC to win a NC. Took Dabo 9. Kirby's been a HC for 5. "Smart" money's on him to win one, and soon. We're enjoying the ride.
Took Saban 4 seasons at LSU and 3 at Bama...you know? The actual PROGRAMS he was coaching when he won them? Get perched on that stick shift and keep riding.

I’m a UGA fan. Why wouldn’t I go to UGA sites?

Did that call hurt? Sure. Is UGA the only team to ever get a bad call? No. Parrish should’ve never given Smith a free release. Dominick Sanders shouldn’t have let a freshman Tua look him off out of position. UGA had opportunities and blew it.

It would be a lot more relevant to talk about a Tennessee game on a Tennessee site, would it not? Either way, it’s just weird a place to do it. On a Tennessee site and on a recruits page who wasn’t there when it happened and hasn’t signed an LOI yet.
