Well it’s hard when you have dolts like @benholt06 doing his usual crap.Silly me for thinking I’d get some useful information from 5 new pages in a recruit’s thread after a ridiculous performance on Friday night.

Aw Shucks we’re just little ole Tennessee.Ahh yes, it’s so easy to beat out the reigning National Champions for a highly touted recruit that has zero ties to Tennessee.
Who is going to make up the difference between what we offer him and what Ohio State does?Says the resident clown.
DGG is a recruitment we should win. Y’all set low standards if you want.
I’ve still not seen anything that says we lost Hiter due to money. Writers for us never said that.Who is going to make up the difference between what we offer him and what Ohio State does?
Should Sims have to? I mean, if that's your argument, I'll give you more credibility, but I don't think it is. You expect him to out-recruit more money for an elite player who can go anywhere. I doubt that happens. It's why we lost Hiter. I don't buy that it will come down to location. I think it will come down to $ just like Hiter did.
But then again, we could both be wrong and some big donor might want to buy the kid like we did Ament. That's the scenario I am hoping for.
Did you not follow the Savion Hiter recruitment closely? I'm not trying to be rude, but I did. It was about money the entire time. Wiltfong reported at one point that Tennessee and Michigan were the two left standing explicitly due to their offers being the highest. I guess you figure at that point he went to Ann Arbor because he likes the uniforms better? We saw Michigan buy a QB last year. This year they bought a RB. It is what it is.I’ve still not seen anything that says we lost Hiter due to money. Writers for us never said that.
Money had nothing to do with us losing Hiter. He even told coaches and players he was coming. His mom was part of the influence of why he went to Michigan.Who is going to make up the difference between what we offer him and what Ohio State does?

I saw Riggs and Gibbs in high school. Tonight I watched the best high school running back I’ve ever seen in person. Do what ever it takes to get this kid
Yeah, I’ve seen a good many of those players, heck played against a few of them, but I’m telling you now, Georges is a man among boys in the best football level in the state of TN and he would be doing the same against teams in GA and Florida also! I still don’t believe he comes here, I’m about 99% sure he ends up at OSU, he just loves OSU and I don’t believe he will turn down that opportunity.Let's not get carried away. Georges is a great back but there have been some great backs in Tennessee over the decades that dominated defenders in the same way.
I remember seeing Kelsey Williams in the early 1990's at Humboldt. The kid was a grown man, but did not have the grades. He's just one of many that most will never hear about, but could've gone on to a potential NFL career. Others we have heard of. We tend to have short memories and recency biases.
Not really for me. I never thought I’d see a rb that reminded me of Chuck until I saw this kid the other night.Let's not get carried away. Georges is a great back but there have been some great backs in Tennessee over the decades that dominated defenders in the same way.

This kid runs so hard . His cuts are dynamic and his acceleration out of the cuts is something to behold.
He does favor DH, and CP when running. Though he isnt as big. Running right now in Prep academy isnt same as the SEC. He will be good and really would like to land him.I'm not doubting Georges ability. I've been watching and wanting this recruit since seeing the film last year.
However, it is naive to think you can compare Georges to all the great backs that have come through the state and rank him the best. Your assessment is based on your experience. He is in the upper echelon in recent memory though.
I used a little known back as an example who was a grown man before there was hudl and the internet. I played against Karl Williamson who landed at Mississippi State. Big, fast, strong. He was just a knucklehead. There are better backs I have not mentioned.
Another one who no one really remembers was a kid named Donte Hickey. He’s was a 2000 yard rusher on those Cleveland teams in the mid 90s . We signed him but couldn’t get him in school if that tells you anything.I'm not doubting Georges ability. I've been watching and wanting this recruit since seeing the film last year.
