'22 TN QB Ty Simpson (Alabama commit)

Cooper Bateman, David Cornwall, Blake Barnett. Etc. and the list goes on. Ty will be nothing special there just another name in the hat. May play 1 max 2 seasons if he doesn’t get beat out by the next guy in line. Bama isn’t exactly QB heaven they’ve had a lot of game managers beat out higher rated guys and even a running back in Blake Simms win the job over guys. If he wants to play he would go somewhere else.

Callahan just came out with a Final Forcast and said Bama with a confidence of 4

edit: He also said that nobody knows outside of the Simpson family so it could really be anyone.

That’s because they don’t know. No one knows. Ty has done a good job keeping it very quiet. You don’t know, I don’t know and the mods on Clemson, Bama and UT sites don’t know. It’s all just educated guesses. Callahan even said so in his CB pick just now that he’s just guessing.

Wasn't it a thing that people were scared to death if we landed JT Daniels from the portal, Simpson wouldn't come here, or it would hurt our chances...because he wanted to be the man? Am I remembering that correctly?

And, he's going to go to Bama?!?!?

That’s the only real reason I want him.

if we don’t get him It honestly might end up better us other than instate recruiting and it isn’t due to horn being “better”

Here’s why
1) bama is bama with or without him. They are irrelevant in this

2) we get horn which means florida is the one heading down their wish list. This is why it might help us

3) it doesn’t matter who plays QB for JH. They will play well

Anybody that is so sure about him going to either Bama or Clemson had better check the QB's he will be competing against. Both have the number one QB'S from 2020 and 2019. He may be the greatest young QB prospect ever but if he chooses either one of these schools he is going to get a chance to prove it.

It would be great to talk to him every now and then, but (for me) talking every day would get old very quickly. It’s just not my personality.
