They’re on an excellent run...most of that under Sarkisian. Will be interesting if the rotating door of OC’s all knock it out of the park in QB development AND playcalling.

There's more and more closet Bama fans in TN these days. There will probably be a few at Ty's announcement. It would be a slap in the face to those closet Bama fans to invite them to his announcement and not pick them, so I'm gonna have to say Bama at this point.

Sharing an elevator yesterday in my office building with a nice guy decked head to toe in Bama swag...down to the mask. I asked how he felt about Ty Simpson. Visibly confused, he responded “who?” “The quarterback who’s announcing tomorrow.” I then pointed at the Power T on my mask. He nodded in feigned understanding...nice guy.

It is such a weird one. If he picks us it’s massive. If he doesn’t it’s bad for now but it’s not a doom and gloom because there are a few good options out there with similar talent level. Also we have a good group on roster now that I think come game days everything will be fine. This was is really all about off-season recruiting momentum through spring and summer. Particularly with in state class. Ty to TN could start a hot spring/summer. Him going elsewhere we play catch-up until we put a product on field

This is where I am. Want him for various reasons, but not end of the world if we can get Horn. The instate angle is huge.

This staff was put behind the 8 ball and have done well to get us to today.

Worked with a guy in 2017, from Alabama, huge Bama fan, according to him. Whenever Pruitt was hired, I asked him what he thought about it...he had no idea who I was talking about.

There’s a comfort in knowing one way or another. I’m on record that it’s us and that’s being armed with the same information available to the guys who are being professionally compensated. That falls through AND we get Horn then the chase ends imo. That’s an uncertain IF but we’re better than one recruit that we land or don’t land.

I also trust in Heup's ability to actually develop a QB as opposed to the last clown regime
