'22 TN QB Ty Simpson (Alabama commit)

Please explain this.. this should be good..
There’s this myth that we were a 10 win guaranteed season every season and landed a top 5 class every offseason from the Sugar Vols on...it’s a GOOD myth! There were ups and downs and we flourished at Bama’s downs...but Spurrier’s Gators were superior on an annual basis. Majors was our superstar hire. Hillbilly has a faulty narrative.

if he does it will be mop up duty or maybe a start against dick state u. He is not going to play there and finally this bs experience is over with. Now recruit players that want UT. The kid id pretty good but he is by no means a program maker or a program breaker. There are plenty of QBs out there that are better and may end up better. Good luck sir
Exactly!

We were second fiddle every year, except for one. We always came up short, except for 1 year. We could never beat Spurrier, except for that one year. We never dominated, even that one year. I think that's what he means but he can answer better than I.
You did very well! Would never admit you did better. 😉

You really need to clean this up. 😳

I was just a little surprised he wanted to get this over before the start of his next season since he is going to his states number one football enemy. I think he would have been smarter to get his season going first. I understand the normal get it behind me logic, but this is not a run of the mill situation. I hope he and his dad can support hard core VOLS who decide to quietly sit out this season. Can anyone define the level of BIG ORANGE loyalty in the area? Not sure how that runs in the home of the little brother school. Not sure what I would do if I was normally a supporter of that HS after my emotions settled down knowing my other neighbors kids are there too. I am sure my enthusiasm would take a hit, but don't know if I could justify bailing out for a season. He is now a QB for the number one enemy at his own election.
I can tell you the area where he lives is every bit as much Vols fans as Knoxville. Most everyone in rural NW Tennessee grows up rabid Big Orange fans. This is definitely not a popular decision in and around the Martin area.

I admit Tennessee did less with tons of talent under Fulmer but when it was rolling it was rolling and this don’t look myth like to me..
Didn’t change my mind...don’t care if I change yours...myth. We didn’t have the same message board dynamic, but if you read letters to the editor or talked to fellow Vols fans at the local bar, there was droves of Hillbillies commiserating that we’d never be back to the shangri la days of Dickey...much less Neyland. We beat up who we were supposed to beat up...ceptin Florida. And we were always good for a Memphis loss or Nebraska non-competition.

Ok bro cool story

Is it hard for you to read.. sorry.. but life goes on accept it and move on if ya want to clean it up be my guest..
Bunch of numbers jumbled up. Don’t see the forerunner of modern day Bama or Clemson anywhere in there. I’m good. Not planning on accepting what you’re selling.
