'27 TN QB Andre Adams

Antioch did play a weak schedule, but I got to see him play against one of the best teams in the state (Franklin Road Academy) and he accounted for nearly 500 yards and nine touchdowns knowing Jeff Lebby was there to see him play too. He knew other coaches were going to be at that game, but Lebby was there the entire day until halftime

I am curious what box he doesn't check. And that is not to point out that it is a mistake not to pursue him. I have no idea. There are specific attributes that CJH is looking for to effectively run the system he wants to run. I wonder if they think he is missing something tangible or intangible. I know they want their QBs to be able to throw the long, quick passes across the field for all the bubble action. What kind of zip does he have on his throws?

If he don’t check every box CJH my want to re-evaluate his boxes.

if you find one, let me know
Let me know as well. I’ll admit I am biased on this one. Don’t know Andre but I coached his dad and 2 uncles at AHS back in the early 2000’s. Andre is the best I have ever seen. I have seen every high school game he has played. I would rate him better in every category than the Curtis kid that is going to Vandy except for size. Better arm, quicker release , smarter, more athletic, more accurate…

Your opinion is that our staff will decide who to prioritize by the fact that Oregon offered him?
First elite offer. And honestly, that prob wouldn’t be the worst strategy.

I just don’t get why you wouldn’t at least kick the tires. Nobody makes you take him in the class If you don’t want to. Added UK, Wisconsin offers too and Auburn offer is likely still good. He’d prob go to Vandy if he commited today, which is what I really don’t wanna see.

I predict this dude will blow up and we will get involved, anyway.

Arch is an outlier because of his family. They're also saying he will stay all 4 years even if he's projected to be the #1 pick in next years draft.

Dante Moore switched schools after starting several games as a true freshman at UCLA. So that wasn't a true 2 years as a backup. Also people weren't impressed by his freshman year so him sitting at Oregon was just as likely because he simply wasn't good enough than it being by design.

Most top QB recruits are now playing right away. Last year both Dylan Raiola and DJ Lagway started most of the year. And this year Bryce Underwood is projected to start game 1. Also it's not crazy to think Faizon Brandon is the favorite to start for us in 2026.

Guys are getting paid too much to sit for 1 year anymore let alone 2.
Depends on if the team are contenders or not.
