Does anyone have his actual stats from the game?
Official stats came in tonight:

PASSING - 22/28, 401 yards, 6 TD
RUSHING - 15 carries, 137 yards, 3 TD

TOTAL - 538 yards and 9 TD

(Antioch has absolutely no kicker so they go for two every time and I think they might have counted those plays into his total since everyone else had 480-500ish but nonetheless a dynamic performance against a top tier team)

You guys should review our high school scores and rankings thread that a few of us update each week.

Centennial is not a solid team. They have 1 win and 3 losses. You might label them as bad. However, given the other teams Antioch has faced this year they might be one of the better ones.

Antioch is 5-0. They have faced 3 teams that are winless and a combined 0-14. The other two teams are 1-4 and 1-3. The total combined record of the teams they've played are 2 wins and 21 losses.

Their district is easily as terrible unfortunately.
Centennial wins and is going to the state semifinals without their head coach (for obvious reasons)......

Congrats to Centennial. However, 5A is one of the least intriguing brackets of the playoffs. A bunch of above average teams with 3 or more losses entering the playoffs. That was a very weak quadrant Centennial is in. Page will be a real test, but statewide when people say man I can't wait to see this game - it won't be the 5A Final.

Paige in Sevierville played a great game to last year. I will definitely watch the rematch.

Auburn in the lead per Wiltfong. Golesh and staff had offered him and recruited him to USF and made him a priority already at Auburn

Ouch. Guess the record shattering production is not enough for us to make him a priority somehow.
I‘m still disappointed we didn’t kick the tires here.

I believe the main two to watch right now are Israel Abrams and Derrick Baker.

Abrams will be more of a traditional blue chip, high dollar option. I think if the feeling is GMac may leave, they could go ahead and seriously pursue Abrams.

Baker is more of a hypothetical prospect rn, as I don’t believe he’s played much competitive HS football recently due to injury. Could shoot up the rankings if healthy this fall. He has a really intriguing skill set— from Alpharetta, not unlike our other Alpharetta QB trait-wise.

Not that the 5 teams listed are scrubs by any means. But the 5 schools that are on his list is some indication that coaches have some concern that his skillset might not translate. We will find out if they are right in a few years.

Why? Arch and Dante Moore both did it. “Sitting” also doesn’t mean he’s going to do nothing for his first 2 years. He could easily be used in running packages or even as an athlete similar to James Banks till his time comes as a QB. Not every kid nowadays is focused first and foremost on getting a nice bag for a few years. Some kids want to get 10 you year deals in the NFL and make real money, and if we’ve done well enough at that position over the next 2 seasons he may be willing to sit to play for the hometown team in an elite offense that can get him to the league
Hometown team for a kid growing up in Nashville these days is Vanderbilt. Also, Antioch is pretty rough area and ANY kid there is gonna take a free ticket to a college football game in Nashville. Not saying vols can't make a run for him or get him to a game, but it is fools gold to say tennessee is the hometown team for a kid growing up in Nashville.

There is so much incorrect about this post you may as well throw it out the window.

I'm a Nashville resident, area native, and generational legacy of the area. Tennessee is the hometown team in Nashville. By a landslide. To say otherwise is ridiculous.

Comparing centennial schedule and comp to CPA is 😂😂😂
I was not saying they were the same. His argument was based solely on record after non-region play. My point with CPA was showing teams that are playing above their weight class in non-region and losing close games are not bad bc they had a bad record in those games. CPA made it to the state semifinals in DII-AAA. Centennial made it to the state semifinals in 5A. The point was non-region record against a lot better teams does not imply that team is bad and that point was proven right with postseason success.
