In state kid not interested in Tennessee who happens to be affiliated with NPA. 😂 Yeah okay let’s keep pretending there is no bs with Npa.

You're correct. But...it's not so one-sided as many on here make it seem.

NPA may feel a bit slighted, and they represent the state of Tennessee, not The University of Tennessee.

Michigan, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon are all P5 schools that heavily recruit the state. There's only one NPA guy that I regret having gone somewhere else- Jalen Ramsey. Which means NPA is legit, but how many of their players would have changed our record over the past 5 years??
Because of the schedule we play. UGA and Bama are not filling up their rosters with NPA, kids...

We're not really missing out on not getting some of their players.
But it's obvious UT and NPA still have a relationship. Boo Carter and others were at UT this weekend.

His best offers were Michigan, Ole Miss, Kentucky.

Good prospect. But again people are getting caught up in the whole star ranking thing, and him being in-state.
Does he even fit what were doing scheme wise?
Spillman from Lipscomb is the In-state guy that we're after whose brother is already committed. Plue we're maybe getting Jalen Smith and we have Telander.
Can Custis play edge? Maybe, but then look at who we're recruiting at edge...
Smith and Telander are 2023. Curtis and Spillman are 2024

You can take it how you want, but the only reason he camped with us was because of NPA. He's a 2024, it doesn't matter much right now

Or maybe NPA brings kids to camp so it looks like nothing fishy is going on, and it’s not their fault that kids are going anywhere but TN, when in reality, they continue to push kids to certain schools for some handshakes on the side.

NPA would prefer to push any high profile athlete to another major program to have relationships established with other programs. Of course if a kid is dead set on Tennessee they’re not going to interfere.

NPA not pushing kids to other schools would be the bare minimum. If anything. They should be actively pushing kids to the Vols 🤷‍♂️

Think it would be great to pick up a homegrown 4* linebacker. And it's a long long time before pen meets paper. I think our coaches can reel this one in if they want him.

That's why i mentioned Spillman, and plus we're getting Jalen Smith and Telander this year. We have Herring and a few others.

Only play with 2 LBs at most times.
Anything else is an Edge, Star, or NB at the 2nd level
