I felt this way initially. I imagine they did quite a bit to get him eligible but ultimately it’s up to him.

Obviously he doesn't think Lawless was any good anyway, so in his opinion it is better he didn't get in and waste a 85 spot on a guy who is never going to play.

Not really my opinion. I thought Lawless had potential.

He's a crazy good athlete for his size. He played with a friend's stepson for a couple years. Hopefully we can get him in a year or two out of JUCO if he goes that route.

I wonder what GPA/ACT you have to have to get in?

I thought it was something like 17 ACT and 2.4 gpa. And certain classes needed too.

Could be old info though.

I can’t remember who but he was in a radio interview like a week or two ago. One of the best interviews I have heard in awhile.

I think I heard last week he was going into coaching. Had given up on playing football but was in some other sport. Maybe John Wilkerson mentioned it. Or maybe not.

There was a 247 article recently that I think just summarized the interview that someone else mentioned. Says he's doing really good. Coaching middle school I think.
