Only reason Pruitt got the job is because of the recruiting rep that he and a few of the coaches he hired. This is not a staff that has any history of finding a bunch of diamonds in the rough and coaching em up. This staff is supposed to be bringing in 5* talent and grooming it for the NFL while winning a lot of football games. If the staff keeps whiffing on guys like Hardy, they won't be here much longer.
The only true commitment is when they sign.... a silent commit is when a player commits to the staff and sets up a public date at a later time. They happen all the time. The whole term"silent commitment" is laughable to me. It's not public but he's coming here for certain,"he's a silent to us" How funny ! You can barely trust the public commitments of teenagers and yet people whine and act as though a silent commitment (if there even is/was one) is a truly bonding agreement. A silent commitment is not a commitment at all, if it were a true commitment it would not be of the silent variety to begin with.
Yeah, I was hoping he might spill a little extra info. I did see where he said it that coach Rocker wasn't as responsible as some have speculated, but that's about it. That Pappoe deal was indeed a pisser.Oh..I gotcha. I seriously doubt he would ever get into specifics...He was PISSED over the Pappoe deal, but all he gave was a vague idea of what happened.
LIED is a strong allegation.Wrong.
It was HOW both Quay & Hardy did it that is eliciting the reaction.
Both LIED straight to the Coaches & Players faces.
Apparently his dad made a last second decision for him. The VQ gang had a commitment video and story they were holding for the kid. His choice caught everyone off guard including the players and coaches.I'll go back and look, but all I recall is that he was as blindsided as the coaches and other recruits, and media but he didn't say what happened (unless I missed it). I was hoping he could elaborate just a little.
