I know people are trying to say it isn’t over, but I don’t buy that. We never flip these kids from Auburn once they commit.
It's a toxic situation. The kid doesn't seem torn about his decision or regretful at how he handled it. Respect costs nothing, and for whatever reason, he hasn't shown any toward UT. Let this one go and move on before there's collateral damage.

I don’t like him one bit. He can get bent. I think he’s overrated too.Tyler's punking the Barners. He's punking everybody right now. He doesn't like everybody assuming he's going to UT because of his dad. He wants people to know he's making his own decision and going where he wants-- and he seems to be having fun doing it.
I don't think we'd let it get to that point if we do continue to recruit him.My biggest issue is what if he tells them he is flipping to UT, then stand us up at the alter again and this time we had a spot reserved for him? Can we take that chance and then end up with none?
I have always said, we have the greatest fans in the world...and, we have the worst fans in the world. In the age of social media, the worst of us has been one of my biggest concerns when it comes to recruiting.I get the guy’s tweet was satire, but man grab some attention some other way. Kid’s see this stuff and it grows old on them and leaves a bad taste in their mouth. Jay has no clue who that guy is but the perception of a couple can give a bad name to all. There is a fine line on twitter because there are so many burner accounts and people trying to create a drama and controversy by doing stuff like that. You can’t respond to that because you’re just playing their game. However, an identifiable account that is doing something for attention and doing it towards a kid is when you can call a spade a spade.
Auburn puts serious hooks into kids. Their system has to incorporate the parent some how.I know people are trying to say it isn’t over, but I don’t buy that. We never flip these kids from Auburn once they commit.
Last minute switches always hurt the most especially when a recruit has lied or changed his mind without telling the losing coaching staff.
Always leads to the “bagman” speculation.
Hope that didn’t happen here. Auburn used to have that “reputation” to try to compete with their big brother in Tuscaloosa.
I don't understand that either. Why is that such a big deal? Are the UT coaches taking him for granted? It sure doesn't seem that way. We could desperately use some good news on the recruiting trail and some momentum now.Tyler's punking the Barners. He's punking everybody right now.
