'20 TN DE Jay Hardy (Auburn commit)

Interviewed on news just now and said “I knew Saturday where I wanted to go”

When did he allegedly give Pruitt the news?

Anyone who thinks in-state recruiting is not important see me after class. It’s great if you’re a contender every year and can truly recruit nationally that’s great. But most teams need to know where to start looking for talent and it helps if there is built in interest with kids for whatever reason, geographical or otherwise.

As for Hardy, I don’t think it matters if he was from TN or Alaska, he was a Vol until he suddenly wasn’t. That’s what makes it sting.

Think I'm going to boycott this thread from this point on. Hardy is probably enjoying the outrage shown here and I refuse to give him that type of enjoyment.
Obviously planned this..
I’m so happy that Hardy spurned our team for such a lovely, well coached, team. A team with some of the best fans in college football! It was such a hoot the way he played us all for fools and it brightened my day seeing such light hearted, humorous, playful, shenanigans at work. I hope this kid starts from day one and becomes all SEC, all American, wins 4 national championships and becomes an all pro at the next level. Good luck to you, young Hardy, I’ll be pulling for you, every step of the way!

(Ha, now the jokes on him🤫)
GBO!!

He never gave Pruitt the news. Staff found out when he announced. He wasn’t man enough. Auburn wasn’t even in his top 4 last wk and he thinks people are dumb enough to think he suddenly picked them without there being shady business? It wasn’t a family atmosphere that’s ******** comment because the current players were trashing their fanbase after game on twitter. How is that a family atmosphere

Don't think I could do this recruiting thing. I don't have it in me to coddle a bunch of 17-18 yos. At that age, I'm of the opinion you act like a man, which means being open and upfront about your intentions. None of this shady bull **** of telling people one thing while doing another. I'm not mad at the young man for choosing Auburn. It's disappointing, sure, but he's got to follow his path. I'm mad at how he handled it. He could have been upfront about it, and acted with maturity.

Clearly the kid that took his knee out went Into a time machine and saw this coming and came back to present and took out his anger on him

Not saying it isn’t shady but AU has been in his top 5 since he had a top 5.

What's crazy is people act like Auburn is world's in front of us. I would say there is a good chance we end up 7-5 and they end up 8-4. We also kicked their butt last year.

True. But I think a lot of kids view Auburn at a higher level in the national picture. They view us as a team that haa struggled since their birth

While i still assess some blame on Jeremy as the head guy, fair or not, ultimately if kid is telling coaches, players, media he's all in...then turns opposite way, that's pretty telling. None of us knows full story, but, if he's truly doing this for attention as some are saying that also, says a lot. if he's scared of TN not winning or listening to negativity, that also speaks volumes. still on Pruitt.
SMH..

Have any of the other recruits tweeted any congratulations toward Hardy? As of this morning they hadn’t and that was very telling to me, the level of shadiness. Most kids will tweet even when a rival is chosen.
GBO!!

Honestly, even if Auburn paid him, if he needed the money, I could understand making that decision. I just don't understand lying to the coaches and other recruits(who I would assume are friends). Why the deception?

A guy that's been telling us the entire time that it's absolutely Tennessee and Hardy loves us but now is filled with information about how terrible we were during the time he was telling us that.
Volnation poster ? Please provide name if possible. I would like to review the posts.
