Exactly! His brother went to Baylor and JH goes to McCallie and his family can't afford either HS. I have lots of friends I grew up with who kids all go to Baylor and plays sports and none of the parents can afford Baylor. Heck, I even went to Boyd-Buchanan for 4 years totally free and my parents didn't have to pay a cent either and "yes" I was recruited to go to Boyd-Buchanan because of sports mainly baseball and we are talking back in the 80's so hush hush deals have been going on forever.

Hardy parents was paid, we all know that. No way he goes to Auburn knowing their coach will probably be fired at end of year especially if they lose two more games to Georgia and Bama, their coach is a goner.

i'm pretty sure that whatever happened on the plains this weekend was a "take it now, rightnow, or leave it" type deal. and i'm pretty sure Hardy moving up his committment time/day was putting everybody on notice that "time's up".

Yeah, I thought the moving the date up while saying his parents wanted him to wait until February and take his time meant he was picking TN but giving Auburn plenty of time. I didn't get up at 7 central to watch it because of that. It didn't feel BOOM worthy. But this is a shock.

I’m not that mad, but disappointed that a recruit lies to coaches and players about playing at one place and then chooses somewhere else. Yes, it happens all the time, but is still disappointing. I wish Hardy well at his final college destination, but would have preferred to see him in orange and white.

We miss on the player, and we miss on the peer recruiting he could have done for us. Hopefully he doesn't try to use whatever relationship he has with some of our current commits to try and sway them Auburn way. Easy to get caught up and be pissed off. I have to remind myself not to hold a grudge against an 18yo, lol. There are bigger things in life. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

I just received a call from an insider and the word is that he was committed to the Vols as of Sunday. Then the big kid from Texas committed and he decided he didn't want to go against him in practice so he got skeered and ran away. Can't say that I blame him.
