'20 TN DE Jay Hardy (Auburn commit)

Gotta remember Georgia fans stating that Pruitt couldn’t close the deal. Pruitt has to do a better job of getting kids especially (instate) in the boat EARLY.
Yeah, HT, Crouch, Wright, etc. put that to rest last year..... Until one chooses somewhere else, and it gets brought back up.

It's not over!!!
Isn't it? I'm not going to attack you, but what makes you think Hardy will change his mind? If it's true he was a silent to UT and flipped without even telling the coaches, why would he flip back?

There will be people on here who say stupid things. We are a passionate fanbase. Any kid who reads this should be smart enough to realize every fanbase has those types. But if you're in the boat with us, the majority of us will show you love and support. If Hardy had jumped in the boat, that's what he would be getting. But when you jump to another team, especially with him being an in-state kid, and it looks like you led the staff and the fanbase on, there's going to be blowback. He needs to respect that. Decisions come with consequences and he disappointed a lot of people. It's not cool to wish him ill or anything, but it's okay for people to be pissed with how this was handled.

Done with these instate kids....Baron is gonna do us the same exact way.
I never thought Baron was in to begin with as of yet . Hardy was a completely different story. If we close the season with 3 wins we will see what happens with these guys. If we don’t win at least 2 out of the 3 we are not getting them anyway .

what? Hardy has been tight with the commits for a while. He has been telling them hes joining them for months and months.
yeah, what a load of crap. all we've heard for over a year is how tight this crop of in state 20 kids were tight, and that there would be a domino affect. HArdy and Baron silents since the summer. KL and Mays already in. memphis kids in. Big O on his way in.....

blah, blah blah.........................

i'm pretty sure that whatever happened on the plains this weekend was a "take it now, rightnow, or leave it" type deal. and i'm pretty sure Hardy moving up his committment time/day was putting everybody on notice that "time's up".

Auburn wanted no chance at a counter, and got it. and the last year and a half for TN was just a freaking waste of time.

pathetic.....

And just as much is the opposite as well. Young, DE that went to Bama, Walker an so on. I’m not going against OUR coach I’m just stating I don’t believe in silent commits nor do I believe 17-18 yr old kids words UNTIL they publicly announce things. Kids tell coaches/adults what they want to hear all the time.

Once he commit I'll give more details. Like I said before once he sign I'll reveal who I am. Just be patient. Trust me.

What's the surprise?!

CJP and staff passed on JH after the leg injury and are after bigger fish.

How did you miss this?!

I’m sorry but this was just an extremely crappy move by the kid. You want to go to Auburn? Fine, I can understand that. You don’t sit down with your family and the staff and tell them you’re still committing to Tennessee. He told every commit, coach and everyone that would listen that he was coming to Tennessee. Shameful.

This should be a textbook example of why “insiders” legit or not can be completely wrong while being completely right. This kid was committed two or three months ago. Story was written, commitment video filmed, reaffirmed with the staff (hell his family reaffirmed with the staff), told every Vol commitment he was coming as well.

Again I have zero issue with a kid deciding what’s best for him or his family. But he should be Fing ashamed that he sacrificed his integrity to “shock the world”.
