I say this about Georgia instate kids all the time. When in-state kids drag out their commitments THIS long and continues to flirt with other schools it is NEVER good for the state school. I feel Baron is the same just don’t know that he has the options that Hardy does.

I've seen Baron at every home game sitting with Cade, Lawerence, and Bailey. I never saw this kid with him. Baron would be the one that shocked me if this happens. This one not so much for that very reason.

yeah, price was on swain yesterday and he didn't exactly give me the warm fuzzies. that he's continued to put off his committment, that there's just an assumption that he's going to TN, either because of his dad or whatever, kinda annoys Baron, and he wants to have control over the decision, and it be known that wherever he goes, it's because HE wants to go there.

so i could see him taking long looks elsewhere.....and it's worrisome.


only with TN in state prospects will they NOT go to TN just for spite.

Maybe he'll rethink his decision. Not likely, but you never shut the door on good talent. Said previously I was worried about Auburn sweeping in at the end with a bag of cash.

What worries me is how this reflects on overall recruiting and the image it projects to other kids. When an in-state kids spurns us, what do those other kids (not in-state) think?

I hope Gus gets fired after the Iron Bowl, because he really is on the hot seat. I hope we fill Hardy's spot with getting back in it with someone like Smalls and tell Hardy he has a walk on spot for being low character.
