'20 TN DE Jay Hardy (Auburn commit)

I have 3 children. I would never allow them to do what Hardy just did to Vol fans. If he wanted to go to AU then fine. But there's no way that I would sit there with my children and lie and let them lie like that. Pitiful tbh.
I have two and I wouldnt even let them be dishonest to Florida coaches. Run your life the right way.

He basically admitted in 247 interview that he was silently committed to TN. Committed to Auburn in visit and never told our coaches until his decision went public.

That is a good way to burn a bridge that he may wish he still had after auburn loses to uga and bama and the fans are burning Gus at the stake again.

Disappointing. I’ve had some negative vibes about other recruits but I thought he was 100% Vol. I think even with the turnaround we had this season we are starting to see how the 1-4 start is negatively impacting recruiting. How we let this guy slip through our fingers I’ll never know. It over though. Not until NSD. Keep cruiting him!

How good does Auburn pay you ask? First round lock Derrick Brown, who literally just had a newborn baby, decided to return to school for his senior year to play with a true freshman QB. Put the pieces together folks.
The rumor was 250k for Cam Newton when all was said and done.

Not really....AV said to write Gilbert off. People assumed Gilbert would come here because Bailey is committed.
We were always 2nd choice for Ojulari. Ojulari was all UGA, then LSU, then chose UT just because. First chance he got, he jumped ship. I still think he is waiting on a UGA green light.
Hardy is the only surprise really. Everyone expected him to choose UT. Maybe he chose Auburn so that he could go to the UGA and Bama games. If he is committed to UT, no way they are letting him attend those games as a recruit.
At the end of the day, there are a lot of players out there to get.
There are a lot of players, but how many are coming here? There aren't a lot of highly ranked players we actually have a shot with. This isn't like last year with Wright, Henry, Crouch, and others still out there. DW is our only shot at a top ranked player and that's a loooooooong shot.

He better be happy with his choice because I would not let him come here.
