'20 TN DE Jay Hardy (Auburn commit)

We just got reminded of a few universal truths regarding Vols recruiting.
  1. Volnation has no insiders...NONE.
  2. Auburn has better bagmen than UT and they're not afraid to use them.
  3. A verbal commitment from a high school kid isn't worth a bucket of piss. Until they sign the LOI, don't consider them committed.
Lmao the insiders were right. Hardy committed silently to UT months ago. Was telling commits he was coming as of a day ago.

But sure, push that narrative.

Y’all relax it’s a miss but oh well good luck to the kid let’s worry bout the ones we get not the ones we miss... Tennessee is still heading in the right direction
I would not wish him any luck in helping Auburn win. They did lie to our coaches.

No one in this thread is claiming to be an insider. But even if they were, they can only go by what they are told by the recruits. Read the post from VQ. Hardy and his entire family lied to the staff and other commits. Everyone, including Jeremy Pruitt, thought he was committing to TN today.

I'll agree with 2 and 3, but if the VQ article is correct, no one even the coaches expected this decision. He even told fellow commits he was a Vol. This is in no way on the insiders.
