Not sure it will be hard to explain. "They gave him a bunch of cash, Coach."Primary is Scherrer, secondary is Ansley. It works by region but I assume Rocker would have some convo. But as Swain said this morning, Scherrer is the one with explaining to do in the recruiting meeting.
Btw, his recruiter at Auburn is Rodney Garner. We all know he gets a lot of recruits.
Nothing for AVol to say. It is what it is. It's not like Hardy called up and asked AVol to counter AU offer. When he flips to TN, will you guys be glad or is he dead to you all now?Auburn is getting ready to lose 2 of the last three. This won't be over until he signs. CGM will be on the hot seat again by the end of the year.
Disappointed in our D-line recruiting. Would like @Atlanta VOL to chime in.
I wasn't calling AV out. If you look at my posting history in regards to AV I've defended him at every turn. He's a great ambassador for Tennessee football. I still would like for him to shed some light on this. He's got more than a finger on this situation. And who do you mean by "you all"?Nothing for AVol to say. It is what it is. Coach Potter made an interesting comment before the announcement about how difficult the recruiting process is and he also mentioned honoring commitments. Maybe he should have spoken to Hardy before his family put on the AU shirts.Have to take that info with a grain of salt, then. Probably just providing some cover for an unpopular decision.
Yes, he's gone. People get legs broken and ish when you go back on a financial deal, especially unscrupulous ones.I think it's pretty much done. I think the coaches will be professional and practical, as they should be... but I think this is one that will be hard to walk back, especially with that core group of recruits.

Auburn got to Owen Pappoe’s if I remember correctlyWe maybe should stop blaming Hardy. We don’t know if the decision was made for him. As we all have seen in the past, a kid can want to go wherever he wants to. If they get to the parents and offer something sometimes the kid has no choice.
I don’t think Hardy looked happy at all. This makes me think the decision was made for him.
Auburn all day everyday.Higher team payroll, Miami Dolphins or Auburn Tigers?
so wait, Hardy's visited here 8 times this year, was here for an OV weekend before last, flashing the UT gloves last week, telling err'body he's still in last week, and we haven't been showing him enough love? but after one weekend at Auburn, they made up all that ground? i realize he's been there 1 or two other times in the past couple years.Hardy's cousin
Neither commit nor silent commit means anything until they sign....then, they can still transfer.I hope going forward none of you put ANY stock into a kid being labeled a “silent commit”, as it means nearly nothing regarding which school he’ll be attending. These kids “silently” commit to several schools. They know if they promise they’ll come they’ll continue to be coddled and treated like celebrities till they commit. These kids love attention.
Not a fan of the slight of hand crap he and more importantly his family supposedly pulled but as for myself I would welcome him back with open arms. On field talent right now in our situation certainly trumps being misled in my eyes.Nothing for AVol to say. It is what it is. It's not like Hardy called up and asked AVol to counter AU offer.
