You can’t be competitive in the SEC with 2 and 3 star players. At some point, Pruitt must convince blue chippers that this ship is headed in the right direction. He has yet to accomplish that.

Let’s pump the breaks just a bit there. Current class is more 4stars than 3stars. Our per player score average is top 15.

I’d wager quite a bit that somewhere Vol Quest has a commitment filmed for him like they did Justin Rogers. This feels very similar.

Win out and make a bowl and we should close strong w/ recruits. Top 15 class.

This should include Hardy if the staff still wants him after this debacle.

Then upgrade our staff at a few positions to help us w/ recruiting the elites for the next cycle and we should hit 8-9 wins next year.

Pruitt or Bust in 2021

I can’t wait to smoke the next three teams we play while Auburn loses to their most hated rivals in their last few games. They will be chanting to fire Gus and get their wish. Then we shall see who all wants back in the boat.

Hope it was a good chunk of change to risk your sons future on. At best he will be on the 3rd best team in the West and because that’s become a serious fact lately he will probably have a new coach at the end of his second year at the latest.
So even if things go their absolute best he will be heading into his money seasons, jr/sr years when the scouts really start watching, with a new coach and staff that will most likely bring a whole new system

Regardless I wish this kid the best and hopefully AU finally dumps malzahn and he will swing back to us. This could honesty be the best case scenario, especially with the ego recruits develop during this whole process. No way our leaders let him walk in the locker room without showing some humility after this, and with the rumors of what he told them.

UT meanwhile will start working their way down their DL recruiting lists and we'll see a commit or two at the position over the next couple of weeks. They'll be solid recruits or jucos but they won't please the star gazers. Nothing new at all about this process.
