TN Commit David Oku

Isn't hovering around .500 par for the course there now and not just a bad season or two?

I hope he goes to Nebraska and becomes irrelevant like Nebraska has become.

Why bash Nebraska? you are in nowise a rival of the Huskers. Nor is your 2008 record as good, nor did you play on New Years day. But just the same, Good Luck with your 2009 team and new coach. BEAT FU VOLS!

I'm sure they were meaning to bash Nebraska before a Nebraska fan got on here and started talking about Nebraska.

Nebraska.

Who cares where he goes at this point. Between Butler, Brown and Oku. It is a 3 person circle jerk with Hostesses on the sideline.

if he goes to nebraska i won't be upset...i feel like he could certainely help us and would be happy if he came here but his flakiness and the fact that oklahoma wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole tells me that he has much more serious issues than mere immaturity. so nebraska is welcome to him.

Couldn't have said it better myself...

If he comes here, he better be a stud on Saturdays, same goes for anyone making their recruiting a soap opera. I still hope we get him just for the chance that he does develop into a stud for us.

I'm not sure why everyone is upset about the recruiting soap opera.

The spring game gets one day closer with every episode these guys deliver.

From ESPN last April:

David Oku's current favorites are Florida State, Illinois, Tennessee, Michigan, USC and Ohio State, the Oklahoman reports. Oklahoma State is also in the mix but Oku is no longer considering programs such as Oklahoma, Notre Dame and LSU.
Oku hinted that the Sooners' offering Miami-FL running back pledge Bryce Brown (Wichita, Kans./East) first upset him.
He carried 182 times for 1,628 yards (8.9 average) and 20 touchdowns as a junior. Oku has 3,897 yards and 45 touchdowns entering his senior campaign.

Thought this was relavent to your Oklahoma post.

But even more interesting is the Bryce Brown part. This closes the case on him IMO. A head case, afraid of competition. Especially competition from BB. Anyone still think he's not scared of BB? Think again.

Yep.

I hear that Oku and BB are now going to sign together at the same place, same time. There are rumblings that the recruits and entire families/friends/girlfriends/baby-mommas/mentors/coaches will all arrive in a tiny car before entering in the back of the "big top" tent. It's being sponsored by the Wringley Bros.

Sudden Impact.....I am a UT fan throughout and have always been. By no means a troll. I have no idea why I am even responding to you because most of your posts are laced with anger and venom....especially to newcomers. Im just saying, do we really need a crazy person thats all about himself? I think we will be fine at that position next year. Hopefully 2010 will offer a talented group of RBs that fans will be proud to cheer for. Now go ahead and bash me because I know you enjoy it..cheers

:eek:lol:
Could we pitch the tent inside Neyland and have the car drive through the T on the way in?

Ringling maybe? or are you talking about the gum?
