TN Commit David Oku

The depth at RB on the roster has not changed since he made his commitment. The only thing that has changed is the subtraction of Jarvis Giles which means even less competition......how exactly does that make you think he is scared of competition?

Add Toney Williams. Why does he not pull the trigger? Competition.

I think I read back that he had added some other schools to look at? Am i wrong on this one? If I am right, then is he calling these guys? The reason I am asking is because they aren't allowed to contact the players right now from what I have heard

I have a trivia question for everyone on David Oku.......

What do Ole Miss, Syracuse, and Auburn all have in common that UT doesn't with them??

what a racist - I don't buy it for a second ;)

I didn't even fathom that could even be remotely close to true, until I re-read his most recent article. He said that Ole miss may "pop back up". Why on Earth would he even consider them if he really didn't before?? Makes no sense. Then I went and even looked at who Louisville had as it's RB coach, it was Tony Alford who is an AA and now is the RB for Notre Dame. The only coach that wasn't white that recruited him was Tim Beck the RB coach from Nebraska. Oku visited there and never mentioned Beck by name in his interview about the visit. He mentioned Pelini, but that's it. I know I maybe jumping to a conclusion that doesn't sit well with people, but how else is there to explain it?? Everything was fine until his boy Drayton left and then he visited there and Auburn. He's not racist per say, he just likes the black assistants better or can relate to them easier.

That's his choice, but I think CEG could do wonders for helping him get his game ready for the League. He may know that and that may be what's making it harder. It's a tough decision for him.

Any chance any of the 2010 guys sign before Brown or Oku?:p

Eddie Gran is the best RB coach in the league, and he was when he was at Auburn as well.

It seems like such a no-brainer for either of these guys even when I take my Orange glasses off and lay off the Kool-Aid.

Well, it's about relating for some of these kids though. I guess Eddie is focused on other options and doesn't want to baby Oku like Drayton did.
